★ ★ ★ ★ ★ White Pine Beach is nice. The Sandy area is small but there is lots of parking and the lake is clean. There is a trail around the lake and a floating Bridge plus a couple of Camp Krusty's for the kiddos. No open fires allowed and no camping. This is for day use

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My daughter and I did family camp last week (Aug 15-17) and it was amazing. My daughter had a great time doing the activities and meeting new friends and I loved the adult activities and time to read my book. The whole weekend was perfect, only wished it was longer.

Last summer, my kids registered the camp but unfortunately that weekend suffered from worst air quality. But I did send them to the camp on Saturday even the air is all smokey already. I asked the staff what may happen if the air quality is getting worse. They don't know either. And Sunday morning it is even worse, the sky looked scared. So I called and emailed them about whether it should be cancelled. Still no response. But I decided to give up. Health should be most important thing. I felt sorry for the camp organization not realizng it. And no one ever replied to me after that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ this was the last major place i went to before moving july 16, 2010 (went here from july 5-9, 2010)
i got to do some cool stuff like kayaking, swimming, ropes course, etc.
however, i got in trouble for saying "awesomer", holding it for up to 40 seconds! also, i got to hear some songs i love, like smells like teen spirit by nirvana, kids by mgmt, etc.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had SUCH an amazing time here. It’s beautiful, tranquil, & best of all the staff is the friendliest. No problems at all. Ps. I have a very complex diet due to severe allergies & they catered to me so well!
