From the start she was quick to communicate with us and ensure she had a clear understanding of our concerns and priorities. She did an incredibly thorough job; it was clear she didn’t just want to get the job done, but wanted to make sure the job was done right so that we could make informed decisions as empowered buyers. She gave us detailed information on how to maintain important aspects of the home and extend its lifespan.
Sarah ended up saving us close to $20k in her findings. It can be intimidating making such a big financial decision and having such little time to investigate a home to make sure that investment is sound. Sarah took plenty of photos and followed-up with manufacturers to ensure she had the correct age and lifespan of major appliances so that we could anticipate future costs and negotiate with the sellers. The report was thorough and clearly communicated key aspects. Sarah went above and beyond what we were expecting. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sarah did the home inspection for our newly purchased home. As first-time home buyers, my wife and I appreciated how thorough she was in the walk-through with us and in her report. She also gave us advice on how to maintain the systems in our home (it's a rural home with septic, well, and wood/pellet heating). She even helped us prioritize which projects to tackle first once we moved in!
Sarah coached me through fixing a little water issue over the phone on the first day we moved in. We hired her a second time to inspect our well, and were just as impressed with her expertise and friendliness! Would highly recommend!

I now have a template for moving forward with renovating my home and I can do it with no fear of issues being buried, only to come up later. Highly recommend her. She knows her stuff.
