★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely incredible experience!! I’ve had three annual sessions for my munchkin. For the first two, Sarah had fantastic props and ideas. But most impressive was our most recent experience. My two year old was not impressed with the world that day and I was scared the shoot would be a failure. The photos were amazing!! Sarah knew how to coax joy from my little beast. The photos were full of her character and just amazing!!

It’s obvious to see that the quality of the photos is outstanding, but the real magic is the way she elicits and captures pure emotion in unique ways. The sessions themselves are fun, and Sarah is so good at getting even the most stubborn and uncooperative kids to participate and enjoy themselves. She is a master of light and colour. We have had both outdoor natural settings and indoor studio settings and each time the photos were incredible. Book Sarah, you won’t be disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were looking for a photographer to assist us with a newborn shoot. We didn’t realize that typically these sessions are booked before baby is born. I called a number of photographers in the North Van area and decided to go with Sarah who was able to get us in within a few days.
Sarah is timely in her communications. She and her assistant, Beth, are very patient, kind and professional. They were so sweet with our son, Beckett. We opted to do the shoot in her home studio and were not disappointed. She and Beth had great ideas and took over so that we could just relax and enjoy the session. We received the photos shortly after the shoot and are very happy with the quality and composition. We highly recommend Sarah Jane Photography and look forward to using her services to capture future family memories. Don’t hesitate to book her.

Every single time, Sarah was able to connect with our group, make us laugh and just enjoy ourselves. You don't even know how the session ends and then you wonder if you'll have enough pictures until she sends the proofs... then you realize she's done her magic.
