Someone was smoking weed in the bathroom and the smell lingered everywhere no one noticed. Think twice before you enroll your kids here the education system here is a JOKE

They should shut it down by far this school is the worst rated teachers throughout the north delta district, the lady below doesn't know what shes talking about if you read the reviews nothing but them deleting our reviews overall sands is a terrible school, the teachers gossip about YOUR kids, I also heard a incident where a teacher pushed a kid into the classroom and reported it and the school didn't do anything, as well this school does not care for you, THANK GOD i put my kids in North Delta way better

My son went here for ONE month, and he was bullied by students severely to the point teachers were laughing at him. I had to switch him out ASAP. I talked to the principle, vice principle macintosh, and the consoullers. All they did was suggest to move my son out and not get him proper help!!! seriously Sands come on, my kid was forced by other kids here to vape absoulutey such an awful school.
U	Unknown User on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I feel that many of the teachers do not care about the students at all. There are a few but I can think of more bad teachers than good. You can argue that every school has "bad" teachers but I feel that Sands does nothing about it. Students are terrible to each other and its just an overall bad environment to be in.
m	mimi Lum on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My son has been attending Sands since Grade 8 and he's just finishing off Grade 10. He loves Sands Secondary and wouldn't want to be in any other Delta high school. From the point of view of both my son and me as a parent, we have had nothing but great experiences from this school. Mr Akune and his staff are all respectfully kind, communicative, pro-active, hard working, and most importantly attentive. Yes, there are going to be good teachers and not-so-good teachers in EVERY SCHOOL . There is no such thing as one school having all good teachers. Overall, we highly recommend Sands if you are a parent or student and considering attending it. My younger son will be attending Sands in September and he chose Sands over Seaquam (he was accepted into both schools) because it fit his needs better.
f	from the night on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ i've been going here for two years and it's.. not the best. some people are nice. some are not. vaping, skipping, drug deals etc are VERY normal. very. there are some good teachers!!! but .... the majority? absolutely terrible. please don't go here if you're able to choose.
