Finally i can sit down to do this long past due review at the end of this year. Any good words are not enough to express my gratitude to the two gentlmen who helped me out on my visit from Toronto to the town in Oct this year for their kindness and expertise. They are reflection of today of the spririt of Dr. Norman Bethune.

Incompetent, stay away.! Drove into their shop with a squeak, drove away from their shop with a $700 bill for front breaks and a diagnosis of the squeak, and the squeak was still there. Requested synthetic oil, got regular oil, requested a price for tires, did not receive a price for tires. Took it to a reputable shop in Orillia and had the squeak diagnosed as rear emergency brake seizure. Corrected the problem within a few hours.

They just rented us a car in the middle of winter with summer tires. Who expects a rental car with summer tires in the middle of winter???!! We did not realize it until we discovered that we were slipping and sliding and when we looked, we found these summer tires. It is Saturday night and of course, now they are closed until Monday morning. Not impressed!!!

Bad experience, I bought a truck from these guys. Used but you expect a certain level of drivability out of a vehicle you purchase in any capacity. I was told my truck would be up to par by the time I drove it off their lot and that they would replace the breaks, fill the a/c that was empty, fix a broken radio screen because they back their product. The biggest issue with it was that the power steering leaked like crazy from the moment I left their lot, so much so that I lost power steering by the time I got home, 1.5 hours of driving, there is no way they were not aware of the issue. It wasn’t just a drive into town to make it back to their shop to fix it so I had my mechanic take a look and he replaced the faulty leaking pump. He also charged the air conditioner which they neglected to do. And he told me they only did the rear breaks, when they assured me they would do all of them. The bill was $750.00. I approached their salesman, Todd, and asked if they would work with me in resolving the problem by merely paying the $250.00 that the pump cost. I thought that would be fair since the work wasn’t done at their shop. They declined. Stating the work should have been done at their facility. Ok, so I requested they reimburse the amount that the pump would have cost them. Again they declined, what would that have cost them? $100 maybe $125. To me it isn’t about the small amount of money, it’s about backing your product and finding a solution for a customer who bought something outright expecting it to be at least up to par. If you want to be treated like a chump, lied too and disregarded when an issue pops up (on the first day) even though you’ve found a more than fair solution then these guys are for you. I’m not one to write a bad review unless I feel it is necessary, so you be the judge. This story is factually accurate. Furthermore, I know when you buy a vehicle, like the truck I bought, the ministry of transportation has a certain expectation set when dealing in heavy trucks. I’m not going to fight them, but I will never give them my hard earned money again. I would NOT recommend these guys. Liars.

Sander Chrysler = true professionals! Ray and the whole team just get it. They understand the value of the customer that walks through their door. After doing a lot of research online, multiple youtube videos, online build and price, comparisons with different manufacturers, I found the one vehicle I was looking for. It was the last configuration and available model of the Jeep Model I was after...literally in all of Canada. COVID has changed the way we buy, the way we interact, the way we negotiate....at arms length, online, emails, text messages etc. Buying a new vehicle is a stressful situation...both good and bad. Sander made this process so comfortable, relaxed and professional. There is something to be said about working with a local entrepreneur, business owner and family oriented operation. When you name is on the sign on the building, there is nothing more important than your reputation. Ray gets this. From start to finish, there wasn't any haggling, pressure, misdirection, that you would come to expect (if you've ever bought from a large "city" dealership). From the first email inquiries, to the moment of driving off of the lot, I couldn't have been more impressed. All COVID protocols were in effect, and safety and care was a top concern. All of this happened and the service and courtesy of the customer stayed top of mind. Trade-In process....so great! Financing arrangements...smooth and detailed! Time to prep the vehicle for pick-up...the next day! Doing business with Ray and the team, makes you feel like you are joining their community of customers, backed with the small town, but ever-so-important "handshake" (Social Distancing was more of a nod / foot-tap, then a handshake). How many people have had the experience of purchasing a vehicle from a dealership where you have to go through multiple stages of a prescribed sales process that simply drives you crazy? Sander is not that kind of dealer. Fully recommend taking the time to drive up to Gravenhurst and talk to a multi-generation operation that has been in busy in the community for over 40 years. Many thanks for your help Ray, and team!
