The efforts, and patience that both David and Melany had with me was very much appreciated, and their guidance throughout the whole process was wonderful.
Never having gone through something like this before, and not knowing what to expect, both of them made it very easy for me to understand every step along the way. David you were wonderful answering all my random questions, and you kept my stress levels down.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wanted to give kudos to Mackenzie Irwin from Samfiru Tumarkin LLP. When my contract was terminated during the holidays, I had reached out to their office and the intake department representative assured me that she would be able to provide me with free consultation to hear my situation. I reached out to other law firms as well - and a few lawyers were on on vacation / holidays at the time and their consultation fees were very high, so Samfiru was the best option for me at the time. I had a consultation with Mackenzie, and she listened to me and understood my situation, thought that there was a good substance to take on the case.
I then looked up reviews and media appearances as well for her and felt comfortable with my decision to retain her. She outlined everything and was transparent throughout it all. She answered questions where I didn't understand and she gave me good advice where I had doubts to come to the best possible outcome. Her assistant Juliette Busch was also very helpful and assisted me through it all. In the end, we reached a resolution without having to go through claim or court and I was satisfied with that.
You just need to go into it with an open mind, realize the price and fees may be high, and then calculate the remaining balance of what you should receive in the end. Get the most out of that figure and make a decision to settle or go to claim. You determine your win in that situation. In the end, it is more than what your employer left you with when they terminated you. Thank you again. If I hear of anyone, I will send my referrals. Take care.

I am so grateful I did because they were able to help get me the money that I deserved. They were very professional and really listened to my concerns. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First of all, I just got everything settled with my previous employer and I am 100% satisfied with the outcome. I was grateful to call Samfiru Tumarkin for help as I felt taken advantage of and was not valued and appreciated by my boss despite the long hours and hard work I put in (there was always something to blame). I found myself wrongfully dismissed and was given bare minimum compensation.
I was never let go before and was shocked and confused. I almost signed the documents because I did not want to deal with it.
Luckily, I called Samfiru Tumarkin and my case was assigned to Jennifer Vong. Jennifer was amazing and gave me to courage and confidence to go forward with the case. She was calm, knowledgeable and re-assured me of my situation. The advice she gave me was priceless and she sent a lot of time on the phone with me to consult my situation.
