Wonderful personality and absolutely lovely photos! So pleased to have worked with Samantha

I would not recommend Samantha as a Photographer. I've taken better looking photos with my GalaxyS9+. The pictures look like they were edited by a complete amateur and were not released on time.

So whats the deal? After our engagement photo session you said you were "so jealous" that we were getting married at The Andaz Hotel.... so We made a deal that you and your friend could attend our wedding at The Andaz Hotel, enjoy free chef cooked appetizers, a candy buffet, a midnight poutine and pogo bar, and drinks in exchange for a few candid photos of our reception September 28th... my wife has called you 5 times, emailed you 4 times and you havent even had the decency to contact her back... I will be writing a review on every page I can find to tell people how unprofessional you are. Anyone reading this.... buyer beware....

As a wedding venue owner/operator, Samantha has been extremely pleasant to work with and her pics are fabulous. These sentiments are shared by my collegues who also mention she's a tremoundous value. I'd recommend Samantha to anyone and check out her Schoolhouse pics:)

I first met Samantha in 2018 when she did my engagement photos. I had recently found out I was pregnant. I showed up to our appointment super nauseous with my bottle of ginger ale and crackers in hand. She was so sweet and patient. I told her what I was self conscious about and she was able to help me with posing. She did ask if there were any pictures I was interested in doing which I appreciated. I had some ideas from Pinterest and she worked with us to make it happen. When we got our pictures back I was sooo happy!! She played with the light. It looked magical and ethereal. Very romantic. It was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to do Maternity photos but my pregnancy became quite risky because of how sick I was. I hired her again to do our first family photos when my baby was a few months old. I didn't want the typical posed baby photos. Boy did this girl deliver! My baby had colic. He was fussy. We were exhausted and nervous that we wouldn't get anything good. Samantha was so good. She was so patient. She is such a genuine person and made us so comfortable. I did wait a bit longer for my pictures however when I got them I cried. I was SOO happy!! I love this memory! It is so special! When it was time to book our photographer for our wedding we didn't hesitate. As soon as we got our date and venue figured out we reached out to her right away. Still have a bit to wait until the big day but I'm confident and excited to work with her again.

Samantha has a tremendous talent for creating light & airy style wedding photos! She has an excellent eye for composition and is able to capture beautiful candid moments! Sam was so fun and professional to work with....her sense of humor keeps everyone relaxed and enjoying their experience. Thanks for such beautiful photos!

We hired Samantha for our wedding in August. She was recommended by another photographer. We had a complimentary engagement session in May which was well done and nice pictures. On the day of the wedding she was on time, professional, as was her second shooter. We signed a contract which stated that the photos would be ready 6 to 8 weeks following the wedding. We received our 'sneaks' two weeks after the wedding, which was quicker than we expected. The photos from the sneak were perfect. 10 weeks after our wedding we still hadn't heard from Samantha so we sent her an email to inquire about our gallery. Two weeks later she still hadn't responded so we sent her another email in case she missed it. By week 14 we still didn't hear from her so we called 3 times over the course of 2 weeks and left messages but never heard back even though she was active on her social media account. She also replied back for new business to our friend within that time period. At this point we were discouraged and concerned something happened to our photos or we wouldn't be getting them back. We finally received an email from Samantha 14 weeks after our wedding which she stated she apologized but was a bit behind and it would be one more week for our photos. 4 weeks later (week 18) we still had not received our photos or any communication from Sam. We sent another email stating that if the photos weren't ready in a week we would seek legal action. She replied back the next business day with our photos. Our photos were completely out of order and all over the place. There were a number of photos with a round-glared spot. We also received many duplicate photos and unusable photos. It was extremely unprofessional to not communicate that the photos would be late or never answer us back. Not to mention after having our photos for 18 weeks they should have been in proper order and the glare should have been edited. Sadly, I would not recommend this photographer.

We hired Samantha for our wedding about a year in advance in July 2018. We had a complimentary engagement session the following winter which was well done and the pictures were good. On the day of the wedding (September 2019) she was on time and so was the second photographer. However, as my wife was coming out of the house she was getting ready in to walk down the aisle, Samantha bombarded her with questions about what groups of photos she wanted after the ceremony. My wife had previously asked her if she wanted this information 3-4 weeks before the wedding and she did not respond. This threw my wife off as she was literally walking to the aisle. In addition, because she didn't have a list, I never got a picture with my parents at my own wedding. When she was leaving the wedding, she said how excited she was to start working on our photos in the next coming days and would get us our sneak peeks asap. After no communication from her, we finally received our sneak peaks a month later but we were reasonably happy with the pictures but not the timing. We signed a contract which stated that the photos would be ready 6 to 8 weeks following the wedding. We gave her this entire time and did not bug her once about the timing of our pictures; however, 10 weeks after our wedding we still hadn't heard from Samantha so we had tried to contact her with no reply. We continued to contact her every few days, wondering about our photos and when we would have them. After absolutely no response from Samantha, we contacted/and were contacted by some of her other clients as they were in the same boat as us, 12+ weeks since everyone wedding with no reply and no photos. Everyone including ourselves were worried that something had happened to the photos. Right before Christmas we finally her back from her as we had messaged her numerous times about having just a few photos to give to grandparents for Christmas. During this communication, we had asked her if we could deliver a usb to her to load all the pictures on, edited or not, and we would worry about having someone else edit them. We also asked her when we could expect the rest of the photos and received no reply. After numerous attempts to contact her and 14 weeks later after our wedding, we sent another email stating that if the photos weren't ready by the end of the week we would seek legal action. She replied back the next business day or two stating that the photos would be ready and sent to us the following day. When we finally received the photos the were generally pretty good but a number of photos with my wife were ruined as my head was cut off. It was extremely unprofessional to not communicate that the photos would be late or never answer us back especially as we were so nice to her and offered other options so we could just have the photos. It was very frustrating to know that she was active on social media the entire time we were trying to communicate with her but she purposefully dodged all our emails, texts and calls to avoid talking to us about when we could receive our photos. We contacted the other couples throughout this process and the only way anyone got their photos was by stating they would seek legal action (which no one wanted to do) as everyone just wanted their photos but was the only way she would respond. Sadly, I would not recommend this photographer.
