Salo Paul Dr - Calgary

I am in constant pain due to the problem in my neck. I am not sure how he is as Neurosurgeon, but the waiting time just to see him just enormous. And nobody seems to care at all. Meanwhile Doctors offered me (I refused for now) some opioid painkillers, which obviously will cause dependency & eventually serious problems with withdrawal. Wonderful healthcare in Calgary. It is already a trend here: extreme pain, then painkillers, then narcotics dependency, then death from overdose.

Dr. Paul Salo has been like a second God for us. My pain before my surgery was at an extreme level that could have taken my life. So many of my friends told me that even after a surgery the sciatic pain at this level won't go away. Dr. Paul did a bi-level surgery on my lumbar spine and the result was fantastic. When I woke up after my surgery there was absolutely almost no pain at all. Obviously, because it's a surgery where they cut you open there was still some minor surgical pain and symptoms due to me being in my health condition for so long before my surgery. Besides, as per what I know is that your body gets hit by nerves issues and it takes time to recuperate from the trauma and so on. So, now I am on physio with very occasional over the counter pain killers. I am recuperating from my damage and my surgery but, Thank you again Dr. Paul Salo, one of the best spine surgeon by far. I would recommend anyone with back issues leading to sciatica issues or any other connected issues to consult with Dr. Paul, one of the best.

I have had 4 surgeries w/Dr Salo due to scoliosis. He truly has saved the quality of my life. His assistant Laurel has always been awesome about fitting me in & being sympathetic towards the back pain that I have had. Amazing Dr & assistant
