Dr Yim and all staff are fantastic. They know I'm always very nervous going and I feel they go out of there way to make sure I'm ok.

I want my teeth capped not filled I do not want to be back please don't try to tell me whats best for my health I do not care what it looks like I just do not want to be back I understand it might cost more upfront to get the job done but long term it would cost less my understanding is thats not good for business "for any business" as repeat business is best. I will gladly come back and change my review when you can see things my way . Staff are nice they did treat me well I will say this however telling me whats best for my health is 100 percent unacceptable.

I can't recommend Dr Yim and his team more than enough. 10+++. From the happy voice answering my calls to Dr Yim's great bonding work recently, he's been innovative in improving my bite, and more, etc, etc....Great work. Thank you Diane, Pat, Dr Yim and entire team!

I’m one of those crazy people that look forward to my dentist appointments, and it’s primarily because of the incredibly kind staff at Sagewood. Their cleanings are so thorough and overall service is so wonderful. Wish I could give bonus stars!

I'm someone who gets very nervous at the dentist, however my experience at Sagewood made me feel so relaxed. They are thorough, informative, and very VERY friendly! I'm really glad to be their patient.

I noticed I had been double charged for my previous appointment. I called and spoke to a receptionist who told me she would check their financial records and give me a call back. She called me back and let me know that their records showed that I had only been charged once but if I could send her proof from my bank statement she would contact their payment provider to see if there was an issue. I said OK and she told me she would call me back that day. The day ended and then another day ended so I called in for an update the next day, Friday, but got the answering machine so I left a message. On Monday I received a voice message from Courtney telling me that there was an error with their payment provider and that I would receive a refund in 2-3 weeks and to call if I had any questions. I call back. I ask to speak with Courtney, the receptionist tells me Courtney is unavailable but perhaps she could help me. I tell her the situation; she doesn’t know what I’m talking about so she puts me on hold to go talk to Courtney. She comes back and tells me there was a mistake with the payment provider and that I will be receiving a refund in 2-3 weeks. I say ok and tell her it was a debit payment and wondered if I had to come in with my card or if it was automatic. She doesn’t know so she puts me on hold to go speak with Courtney again. She comes back and tells me that there was an error with the payment provider and that I will receive a refund in 2-3 weeks. At this point I ask to speak with Diane as I have questions and want some context. The receptionist say Diane is unavailable but she will check if she can become available…whatever that means. 10 seconds later the line is picked up and Courtney introduces herself. I tell her I’m waiting to speak to Diane. Courtney asks if she can help me with anything. I confirm that she has been dealing with the situation from the beginning and she says yes. So, I ask why is it that the payment provider whose name I am unaware of and have no relationship with is refunding me instead of Sagewood who has employed the services of this company in order to provide payment services to me. She tells me that Sagewood’s financial records don’t reflect the error and therefore does not need to issue a refund. I ask what happened to the communication. She tells me she spoke to be me, I called in the next day, and she returned my call on Monday. I tell her that I had called in and she had told me that she would be contacting me that day, she didn’t. Another day went by and no contact. I call Friday and leave a message then don’t hear back until Monday. She tells me that the office was closed Friday because of a conference. At this point I’m appalled that a company would relinquish any responsibility to their client and then leave that client on their own not knowing who the payment provider was or if they would even get the payment. On top of that there’s no acknowledgement of their clear lack of communication, instead I get a timeline that’s changed and frustrations dismissed. So, I tell Courtney to cancel my upcoming appointments, thank her and hang up. Don’t get me wrong, Dr. Yim is a great dentist, I have been his client for a number of years and have always been happy with his work, however, the expectation that it was up to me to get my money back, the awful communication, and rudeness is more than enough motivation to find another practice. This isn’t OHIP, I pay for these services. This whole situation was handled poorly and without good judgement, frankly it was just bad business. Had there been any communication or acknowledgement of their failure to communicate this never would have resulted like this but here we are. All the best!

Genuinely kind and compassionate staff. Dr.Yim and Diane have been so patient and understanding as I struggle to regain good oral health while dealing with high dental anxiety. It truly is a non judgemental and always welcoming environment. If you struggle with dental anxiety I would highly encourage you to book a consult.

Dr. Yim and his staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. They provide their customers with the best dental care. Dr. Yim made the time to explain to me his treatment plan and was very thorough. He also has a friendly staff, especially Diane . I strongly recommend Dr. Yim and the York Bay staff to anyone looking for a dentist office. Mr. Li
