M	Mikhaila Donnahugh on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This has got to be the most racist supermarket in all of Vancouver, I’ve been going here since I moved to south van 5 months ago and I go to this supermarket Atleast twice a week. It’s always the same thing the security guards follow you around right until you leave, as a black person I wonder if it’s a case of profiling because it happens constantly. One day I decided to put my theory to the test and stopped by to get orange juice, it didn’t take long for the Indian security guards to start hovering around and they literally stood at the cash register while I was in line waiting to pay. As soon as I paid they stood for a few seconds and then walked off. This cannot continue whoever is in charge of this store needs to fix it!

The Safeway parkade has a height of 3 meters, and the spots are wider than most in the Lower Mainland . Easy access for crew cab truck, which is a factor in why this is now my preferred grocery store.
H	Harwood on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Some staff are great. Cashier "Maria" was too lazy to bag my 2 items into my reusable bag. No excuse for this when all the other cashiers bag our groceries. Some good sales brings me back to shop.
J	Jordana Dodek on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice clean store. Good selection of ethnic foods. Easy parking underneath with escalator and elevator available. There is also a large Starbucks onsite. There is a lot of light so the store is very bright and makes it enjoyable when going up and down the aisles. Staff are friendly and helpful. Lots of food selections here.

But I've only interacted with one) is really helpful; very knowledgeable about particular diet and health trends, knew her vegan/vegetarian stuff, and could say with confidence whether or not X was something they carried, and where one might find it. Overall nice staff, decent selection of groceries, and the produce is usually in good fresh condition.
D	Dorice Trasolini on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Safeway has underground parking which is really convenient when it is pouring rain in Vancouver. They have their shelves well stocked. They really need to step up their cleaning, from the underground entry, escalator and main entry, these areas always look dirty and grubby. For a fairly new store it is disappointing and makes me not want to shop here. It is convenient to have RBC drive through and liquor store in the same stop. The meat department has a good selection and so does the bakery area. Nice to have Starbucks inside the store. The gentleman the runs the lottery ticket sales is always so friendly.

Additionally, from their order by weight salads, I love the 7 grain salad (in attached photo). Delicious, filling, and healthy. I recommend it.
C	Christopher Nguan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Safeway was renovated many years ago and sits at the foot of Granville Street. It now has a large condominium complex located above and behind it and many stores located around it on Granville Street. There is a massive underground parking lot just underneath the store making it very accessible. The store itself is of a very large footprint and extremely well-kept and clean and bright. It is a typical Safeway in terms of content but I did find that the produce was looking very fresh and certainly they have the full complement of supplies that you would expect from a full-service grocery store. The location just can't be beat and while you were shopping for your groceries you can pop out for a bite or to pick up other items just up or down the street. It certainly is walkable to most transit. Service within the store is also very good. I will definitely come again.
