I actually work here and have to say it's great. All the staff are great, accommodating and we all work together to help each other. Owners are very hands on, listen to my concerns and work with me to find solutions...LOVE my job!

Definitely not a medic company I would ever recommend, a lot of medic companies up in this area to so save yourself the trouble and go with another outfit.

Over the summer I have seen quite a few safezone trucks driving around dawson. The other day while driving home from Chetwynd I had a safezone truck pass me on the highway, when I was already going 115km/hr. And a cigarette hanging out of the lady's mouth. Didn't think medics were supposed to smoke in their units?

I have worked for and with Safe Zone medic services many times over the years. Safe Zone Medic services is an amazing company and I have had nothing but excellent experiences on every job they have been on with us. Very professional and reliable services.

The ONLY medic company I have ever wrote a review for or ever had an issue working for , I highly DO NOT recommend to hire this company or work for them. If you do, make sure the bolts in the MTC are bolted down. Out on a major pipeline job all the trucks didn't even have their units bolted in. (but apparently it wasn't the owners fault , because she "paid a guy to do a job and I guess he didn't do it"..... So she never looked over any of her units after the MTC's were installed, so for years her trucks were being run without being bolted down until it was just discovered on the big pipeline job last month when a WorkSafe guy came out and threatened to have the trucks taken off site). The company is very poorly run and managed. On one of my jobs with them I had to switch out trucks at least 3 times in one week due to all the reoccurring issues there always was. Many times when I would get a new truck and do inventory right away on site so that I know where all my gear is, many times someone from the office would have to drive things out to me because so much stuff was missing in the back or expired. The company will also lie to you to save them a few pennies and does not have the best interest of their employees at heart , which is why I quit and am leaving this review. Because when the owner of a company LIES to me , I lose all respect in the blink of an eye and am extremely disappointed that people , especially in her position , can act that way . A consultant wanted me out on a job , that she had to call me up the night before begging me to go to very short notice , because I was on days off and my brother was getting married in a couple days . I said okay I will go but I need the two days off for my brothers wedding and I want an hour more because she likes to pay her employees the lowest of the low , I know of a senior elder medic working for her that I believe only makes $17.50-18/hr. She agreed to pay me $1 more. I let my consultant know right off the bat that I would be away for Saturday and Sunday. Friday after work the consultant drives up to me to confirm that I WILL FOR SURE be back Monday , because he wants ME out on that job, NOT the medic that would be covering me . Him and the safety guy both . Sunday rolls around and she tells me that the consultant doesn't want to switch the medics out again because it's just easier that way. I called my consultant right away , and found out she was lying . All just to save herself a couple bucks , because I had just asked to get a $1 raise to be making $20/hr , but with the other medic she would have been able to just pay her $17-18. (funny note, when I did ask for my little raise she tried to say I'm already getting the highest at the company?, I've been a medic for 6 years with great references from consultants by the way). She also tried to refuse to pay me all my final earnings within the 6 days after I quit . She said I would have to wait for payroll and that it's not her problem. When I asked why the final pay law does NOT apply to safezone , of course then she paid me right away. However when I noticed a total of 4 hrs shorted (which is also very common as many girls when they have actually went and looked at their paystubs, found out they all had missing hours) , they are now refusing to pay me for them. They say that I need to justify them because they didn't "match with the gps data they pulled from the truck". Well I'm the one out working 17 hr days for them on that last job , and then that's what they tell me eh . So now , now I look forward to letting everyone know about this shady company . Every consultant and oilfield contact of mine I encounter I will let them know to never hire safezone . I am glad my dad is a consultant for CNRL , and my brother is a lead operator at Tourmaline : )
