Sachin Khona - Vancouver Wedding Photographer

It was such a pleasure to work with Sachin, we did a family photo shoot. He made us feel comfortable and gave us direction when needed, and otherwise captured some really creative candid shots. There were many beautiful photos to choose from as a result of a one hour photoshoot. I would definitely recommend him to friends and family who are looking to get photos done.

5 reasons why you should book Sachin Khona for your photography needs: 1) This guy is super professional. When we voiced concerns about our videographer, he took the initiative to follow up with his team to ensure things would go smooth sailing during the wedding week. That was a huge relief! He was always just a phone call, text, email away to answer our questions and put our worries at ease. 2) He was very kind and courteous to guests, other wedding vendors, and the pushy aunties in our families! Always smiling, always game for whatever. As a bride, you often second guess your choices. But Sachin complimented everything and made me feel like I made the right decisions. From decor, to makeup, to outfit choices. I never felt self conscious or got the impression that he was bored/ "seen it all". He was genuinely excited to be part of our wedding week. 3) Sachin was flexible to our needs. We had to postpone our wedding from May to July due to Covid, and he was willing to change dates. He even stayed an hour extra to cover some dancing as the party unexpectedly was able to move indoors during Covid. 4) His photography skills are bang on. When we received our pictures, they were so beautiful! You can really tell these are quality images compared to other wedding images I've seen before (I'm not being biased). I don't know what kind of camera he uses or lense type, but they're clear as hell. Keep doing what you're doing, Sachin! 5) His website is super user friendly. My brother in law who got married 2 years ago still hasn't made his wedding album. His biggest complaint is that he received pictures in raw format on a usb stick, which require a computer powerful enough to open up the files. Sachin on the other hand, uploads your pictures onto a user friendly gallery website for you, AND gives you a separate link for family and friends to view your wedding pictures! He even made us a slideshow full of his favorites! This makes sharing photos and making the daunting task of having to make a wedding album so much easier. Having loved working with Sachin on our wedding, we were absolutely thrilled to learn that he also photographs families. His incredibly friendly, patient, and easy-going demeanor helped us all (including our young toddler and anxious dog) feel so comfortable that he was able to capture us so beautifully. He has an incredible gift for waiting for the right moment and then moving quickly to get the shot that perfectly encapsulates ones personality. The hardest part about the entire experience is having to choose which pictures to print, as we want to display them all.

Sachin is an All-Star. I’m usually a shy guy and used to being behind the camera but Sachin had me feeling comfortable and confident on my wedding day. We loved all of his photos, but what I loved most was the raw moments he captured during the wedding. It’s not something everyone can capture and it adds so much more to the album.

When we started planning our wedding and deciding what aspects of a wedding are most important to us, photography was right at the top of the list- if we were going to spend a lot of money and a lot of time on this event, we wanted to have fabulous photos to reminisce over for decades to come. We could not be happier that we went with Sachin for our wedding weekend- he was absolutely everything we were looking for in our photographer. Talented, creative, knowledgeable, helpful, kind, confident in his abilities but humble in his approach. Sachin has a wonderful warm presence about him, but he is also good at being lowkey so that sometimes you’re not really aware of him being there, snapping away with his camera- which results in great candid shots. Where to begin- Sachin was beyond remarkable and we were filled with gratitude for how kind and helpful he was from the planning process, throughout the wedding, and to the deliverance of the photos. We found Sachin while researching online and really fell in love with his work. It was more than business for him and we felt that and were very much happy to have him apart of our day!
