★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Back in 2020 and 2021 We shopped around to get a custom made kitchen island since we could not find anything suitable that was ready-made. We fielded quote requests to a number of outfits but many did not respond, others were too busy and simply refused and others were too epensive. Finally we had an honest, positive, and professional response from Sabourin and went to visit them to discuss the details further.
While they were very busy, we were told that if we could wait until 2022 they could help us out (and maybe even sooner when / if they had some windows of opportunity in their shop). As it turned out, we had to wait until 2022 but then once we were notified, everything went quickly and shortly after they installed our new island.
We were satisfied with the price and the service and understood completely about the delivery taking longer than normal--especially since we were not ordering an entire kitchen which is more lucrative for contractors than a single custom kitchen island. Also, with the pandemic many people were spending their savings on updates in their homes.
Consequently, we highly recommend Sabourin Woodworks Inc. and urge you to give Sylvain a call to initiate your project--we're confident that you won't be disappointed and be glad that you did.
