β β β β β I went out of country the first 3 months the tenants moved in and they took care of everything for me. They cleaned between the tenant moved in, any issues, did a move in assessment and there was an HVAC problem that RYPM took care of for very cheap. This is amazing and I look forward to working with them more.

β β β β β My mother would always take care of managing my property in Markham as she lived close by. She had to relocate and I lost it because I knew how expensive it gets. I found out about Royal York from their founder's article on Forbes. I read through it, it sounded very interesting so I went with their services. I have nothing else to say other than they are probably one of the best property management companies in the world and their customer service is top notch.

β β β β β My brother has 3 of his units managed by Royal York and I never seen them have any problems with their tenants. I did the screening myself for my own property and found them from MLS since I was told thats where you'll find good quality tenants. I got this couple who fought all the time and did not pay rent. I envied my brother because he would never complain.. I learned my lesson, hired RYPM, they evicted the tenants within a month (even during covid when hearings were being held online..). I hired them for tenant placement and am very happy with the results.

β β β β β I went through a terrible time after having an abusive ex and wanted to move out asap. My old landlord gave me so many problems since because I was also listed on the lease as a tenant, I was still responsible to pay rent, which I did, because from everything I was going through, I didn't want him to cause any more problems, I have worked very hard for my credit score.. However, I can't just pay for 2 rents a month so I was forced to keep living with my ex. The landlord had to HEAR me screaming in order to trust me and you know what he said? "Young ladies like you shouldn't be living with men". Unbelievable! I had an amazing experience with royal york, when I told my experience to Lisa, the leasing agent, she said she will help me out through the application, which she did, the process went super smooth, now I am living with my best friend now, in a nice condo, the condo building is great, seems like my landlord is great because he took care of this one hvac issue we had immediately. RYPM is also great, they pick up the phone all the time and are super responsive. It feels great to finally have a good experience as a tenant.

β β β β β Heard their ad on the edge while I was driving to a showing that I had scheduled the same day which went terrible. The guy who did my "walkthrough" wasn't even the realtor himself, but the cleaner! It felt like I was on the showing myself. I immediately reached out to them and they were able to book me in for a showing the next day after I told them what I required from the condo, what I was able to afford and the area. They sent me a couple of suggestions by email and I had the nicest lady ever, Lisa, who I would like to thank and publicly say she's great and super helpful. The process was seamless, although a bit hefty but there's nothing wrong with it unless you actually get what you required and you come through with your application. Took a huge weight out of my shoulders as I really didn't want to keep going on useless showings which I knew would result in nothing.

β β β β β My mother would always warn me to put the right tenants in house because once they're in and you want to get them out for any reason, GOOD LUCK. I retained royal york for their tenant placement services because of the screening they offered. You can always screen them yourself but think about it; what are the chances they will give you legitimate documents? slim to none.. I got a copy of the prospects documents, they seemed legit, I accepted the offer and they have already paid everything out and have no balance. I live close by the unit but I'd like to keep them around so I went with their management services as well.

β β β β β I read about Royal York on Forbes magazine. I really liked their business strategy, especially their concept of guaranteeing the rent. I've been trying to get my rental income from my former tenants since forever even though they moved out and I've had it rented out through rypm for years now, my collections agency won't do anything. These days you can't even report them to credit bureau easy without a thousand of steps. The fact that my rent is guaranteed really puts my mind at ease. I would simply say number one at what they do..
