★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm a graduate of the Royal Military College. I always enjoy returning once a month to have lunch at the Senior Staff Mess with other graduates.
On this week, I returned to join a Jane's Walk event which took us past the Senior Staff Mess and over to Fort Frederick before circling our way back to the parade square and Panet House where we started.
Facing the parade square is the very historic Stone Frigate c.1819 where I lived for two years. It was built by the British navy in response to the Rush-Bagot disarmament treaty. We also walked by the area where the enormous St. Lawrence sailing warship was built in order to control Lake Ontario.
