If you enjoy wine with your meals, they're pricing is very reasonable. But the star of the game is their food.. the schnitzel, rouladen, speztl and potatoes are out of this world. Definitely adding to the bring out of town guests and special occasions restaurants! Wife had the veggie schnitzel and it was good too...who knew!

The atmosphere was comfortable and not loud so that we could actually have a relaxing conversation. The service was good and unobtrusive. Overall good food, good service and good value for our money - we will return for a dinner in the future.

We inquired about the European fare that this restaurant was well know for before it was changed to Indian cuisine. The German food used to be quite good & authentic, according to the German president of out company. We were told that they were still able to serve the same German cuisine & beer, and that the chef was the same. First of all, the waitress had NO knowledge at all about the beer that they serve. She was also kind of rude. The food was definitely not the same & the sauces weren't tasty. The salads were bland. The apple strudel was served cold although we requested it to be warm. It was then microwaved and soggy. Throughout the evening we heard comments that made us feel as though we were holding them up. WE made them aware that this was a very special occasion. It's a real shame because the waitress that used to work for Elizabeth's chalet (the restaurants former name) was first class. Needless to say we will be taking out business elsewhere.

The chalet's interior is well appointed with wood features which are reminiscent of earlier times and the servers were attentive and friendly.

I had the bratwurst and she had cordon bleu and we were very satisfied. The portions were so big, we have potatoes and slaw for leftovers! The quality of the food was delicious and very filling. Can't wait to go back and eat inside, as the interior looks very well maintained and has great character.

A classic Bavarian style restaurant. The service was quite good, the food was tasty, and overall we had a great experience. This is the type of place that has stayed consistently traditional for decades. If you want a nostalgic experience and a blast from the past, this is a great place to experience what dining in the mid-eighties at a Bavarian restaurant would have been like. Try them out.
