Royal Fades Barbershop

So I made an appointment to see Lavar several days ago. He texted me today saying I would have to come later or cancel because he had a doctor's appointment. He was very vague about it so I ask: wouldn't you have known that you had a doctor's appointment more than 1 hours and 30 min before you're scheduled to work. Again, was still very vague. Then he says "we are not having this discussion but there is nothing I can do." i have the receipts! I then spoke to Carl who basically defended his friend he said: "We are all friends here and there is no supervisor here." This speaks loudly as far as lack of professionalism is concerned. I work in the corporate world and this wouldn't fly. Different work environments tolerate different behaviours I guess. I then spoke to the owner who gave me more clarity to Lavar's situation which made more sense to me. I am just unsure why Lavar couldn't inform me but whatever. He was rude in the email stating that his health comes first which is fair but I had no way to verify if he was telling the truth or not. I get it things happen but still you should let your customers know if something comes up immediately, not after I inquire as to why you have to cancel - we have our own lives too. It just sounds like a bunch of friends who work here and one of their boys is the owner. Hire whoever you want but make sure they hold up business to the highest standard as that is what I would presume an owner of business would like. Believe or not they represent their brand and you as an employee. Very little was offered to resolve the situation so I won't be going back there. Edit: the owner replied and said he told me the barber had Covid or something to that effect. Then why did your barber ask me to come in later? If there is a Covid fear he should be an isolation if he was exposed He mad right now hahaha

My barber was away on vacation so I was searching for other shops in the area. I was hesitant and reluctant at first because it was my first time trying a different barber. I booked on with JOHN CLAVERIA, and he did not disappoint. He was very precise and paid attention to detail. On top of that he provided for great conversation. The end result was exactly what I envisioned. I would recommend John to anybody looking for a new reliable barber.

I went to royal fades today and had an amazing experience getting a haircut from Justin Javinal. He took his time getting all the edges, very gentle and made me look amazing for the upcoming event I had. Would recommend everyone to go to him and just royal fades in general all the staff is amazing.

I always go to Justin for all my haircuts. He displays true professionalism, and is clearly very passionate about his work. He pays attention to detail and treats his clients very well. Overall excellent service and will definitely recommend.

Karl is the best barber around! I literally drive an hour one way just to see him, if that doesn't tell you how good he is then I don't know what will! I always come in looking like a mess but he always sets me up & I leave looking fresh. He's always punctual & makes you feel welcome and important. Definitely would recommend him to anyone especially if you like consistency for the outcome of your hair.

Great place and nice barbershop. However, I'm not coming back here ever again. The barber never listens to his client and chooses to cut the hair however he likes. In my last two visits, I clearly told the barber not to cut my bangles as I'm growing them out. The barber told me he got it. But then he goes and cuts my bangs off during the cut. I'm not sure what goes on in the barbers' head but I'm not risking my hair over this place again.
