★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The cops at the Sechelt RCMP are incredibly rude and very forceful. They take advantage of the fact that they have more power over most other people on the coast and abuse it willingly. I'm very upset at how they treat people lower than them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My first experience with the Sunshine Coast RCMP was really nice. The cop was understanding and friendly. I was going through hard times and he helped me. I think his name was Officer Matthews. My second experience was awful. A woman cop with short, dirty blonde hair was blocking traffic on the highway and directing traffic in the most confusing way. I pulled up and unrolled my window and she talked down to me like I was a complete idiot. I drove away crying (I have an anxiety disorder). My street was in the blocked off area but I was too scared to ask if I could go home because she was so mean. I heard her be pleasant to other people, I guess I just looked bully-able to her. I hope I never come into contact with this woman again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have a rule to never let a police officer on our property or in our home. One caused me to be beaten and tortured. Then when I fought the incident, he lied about what I said. Made something up that was completely untrue, which caused the incident to be ignored. We have zero trust in our RCMP!
Over a year later when an investigation was being done they lied to the investigator! They made up a massive lie about what was said and done at the time of the incident! I will never EVER trust the Sechelt police department again. No matter what!
