★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The bar at the legion is a nice place. The hall is big & a great place to rent out for weddings or other occasions. They do Friday night foods there to & the food is so good! They have a nice pool table to use to.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a nice drive from Sault Ste Marie. It became a family tradition when I was a child every spring to go to the Royal Canadian Legion for their annual pancake breakfast during Maple syrup season. We passed it on to our children and now our grandchildren are the 4th generation enjoying this tradition. The Island folk are very friendly and welcoming. The tables are monitored for syrup and cleared quickly to keep the flow going. Local vendors have their crafts and syrup for sale. Nice family outing.
