★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It may have taken 25+ years before I finally conquered my fears, however, I walked in the shop excited yet terrified & walked out planning my next art piece {which I had done 3 days later}!!
Words cannot express how thankful I am to Aron for my beautiful Tinker Bell & everyone at Royal Anchor Tattoo for making me feel as tho I was among lifelong friends from 1st contact. If you're considering new ink then there's simply no better shop than this!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ (Posting from my husbands account) I got a coverup tattoo here from Sean, just under my collar bone. He was not only VERY professional and prompt as my primary point of contact (In every single other tattoo shop I’ve ever dealt with, I’ve had to deal with an unfriendly receptionist, so NOT having to deal with that here is a huge plus), but he was also really friendly, professional, & talented as an artist as well. He’s creative and a perfectionist with his art, and placement - which are great traits to have as a tattoo artist.
The shop itself is nice, clean and bright, and everyone’s really welcoming and friendly (again, not a usual experience in most shops I’ve been in, so it was a nice change). We’re new to the area but can see why everyone has something good to say about Royal Anchor Tattoo in New West.
Highly recommend, 11/10.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had my first tattoo done by Jay. Tbh, it was a flawless experience. The atmosphere, the welcoming vibes, the care and interest from the artists (even after the fact), it was more than I could have asked for for a first experience. Felt like I was at home with my ppl! I definitely want to go back and I highly suggest anyone who's contemplating getting a tattoo, try these guys out :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My son and I went in to see Biggy Jay for his first and my second tattoo - a matched set of Celtic mother child knot. We are both extremely happy with the end result!! The overall experience was great: very nice space with beautiful river view, friendly clients and artists, professional workmanship. We'll be back!

Its a pleasant environment +the taste in music has been very impressive great tattoo shop. All of my work is coming along nicely, thanks sean & Jay. I always leave very happy with everything. I got my chest finished today forth appointment with Jay! Highly recommended. Awsome view from the shop of the river, lots of parking at the downtown parkade. (No more masks required)???
