I have found their legal expertise + client service to be outstanding - comparable to much larger (and more expensive) law firms with whom I deal in my commercial mortgage investment/private lending practise. Highly recommended by a 30+ year career banker!

β β β β β Back in 2015, I have hired a lawyer called Clara Tsang in this legal firm to made my 1st property purchase in Canada. The initial cost estimates was around $6,000 range. " I confirm that in transactions of this nature, my legal fees generally are in the range of $4,000-$6,000 and are dependent on the amount of work required, disbursements are in the range of ($1,000 - $1,300) plus taxes. I charge based on actual time and disbursements incurred." As I aware of the possible complexity of the process, I have repeatedly as to have a walk-through and documentation check 3 months before closing date, but I got rejected with reply β Don't worry, there are not much to do yetοΌβ while she understand that I was living in Shanghai, and will not come to Vancouver until time for closing. About 1 month before closing, I was asked to made a prepayment of $14.595.00. Such as odd number and nearly doubled the initial quotation. I questioned, and the reply was over the phone " Don't worry, just some extra will give room for sudden expenses and help secure deal if things happen!" As time loom less than 2 left weeks before closing. I got informed the my minute book required to be updated, which will cost less than $300 for most Accounting or Legal company to do. I was throw with the urgent decision to get someone to pickup the book or update, or they will do it for me too", Well I made a wrong decision to tell them ahead. The final statement/invoice after 2 months the deal was closed was exactly $14,595.00 without a penny less. If anyone like my experience, please use her services for your next deals, but I also heard I was lucky to be billed this amount, ONLY ! If you have other legal services options, take them. To me, it was well calculated and planned process understanding the regulation loophole in Canada for legal charges. Sincerely yours.
