About Rosscarrock Community Hall

The Community of Rosscarrock was established in 1954 in southwest Calgary. It is part of Ward 8 represented by city councillor Courtney Walcott.

Rosscarrock is bounded to the north by Bow Trail; to the east by 33rd Street; to the south by 17th Avenue, and to the west by 45th Street. Westbrook Mall is located in the north-east corner of the neighbourhood. We are the proud home of the Nicholls Family Library, located at the Westbrook LRT Station.

Rosscarrock is home to a diverse population, which we celebrate through a variety of events throughout the year.

Community centre is a little tired. Not sure what the rates are but they wouldn't command top dollar in my mind compared to some of the other community centres out there.

This an excellent community space. Always holding great events and having neighbours interact. Keep up the good work.

The lack of professionalism behind their "Employees" is ridiculous. With the understanding of an incorrect move on our part as hall renters, we did not deserve to be treated with racism or yelled at. The lady who claimed to be the hall president basically yelled at us for being a volunteer and having to be at the hall on a Sunday which has completely nothing to do with us as hall renters. The hall is a good hall, the management just needs to be clear or needs to learn how to treat people where english is not their second language.

Our Church - Capstone - has had a bunch of events here. The staff and facilities are great! Small, quaint place, but large enough for most small events!

2 play areas extreme dangerously next to each other. Should not permit nor allow for Pickleball it is there a danger zone. In general we rate the Pickleball there very low. It seemed to us a place of GOSSIP more so than sport. My wife had enough of special one shorter women with strong English dialect as she blubbered away so much we felt uncomfortable listening to such as it not becoming special not among Pickleball players., and left. If you spend $ 5.00 dollars per person and looking forward to a nice evening this surely is NOT the place. We found some wonderful recreational places doing Pickleball in Calgary and the prices are in range between $ 3.00 - $ 14.00. Guess as saying goes * one gets what one pays for*. We do NOT recommend this place.

The hall is well maintain and clean.. The administrator and staff are so friendly and they are considerate. Our church is no almost a regular renter of the facility. Parking is great too.

This past weekend we had our son's 4th birthday party at the Rosscarrock Community Hall. It was very easy to book and the booking cost was cheap. They set-up all of the chairs and tables I requested. The space allowed us to bring in lots of fun activities and guests. I had guests asking me how I found out about the place because they all thought it was so great. Although we only needed the fridge and freezer in the kitchen, it was a great updated space as well.

We rented the hall for $200 for 4 hours. It was spacious, clean and well supplied. Parking out front, 2 washrooms and a kitchen included.
