★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was walking here early one winter morning recently, drinking a coffee as the sun was just about to start its ascent into the sky, when I saw something move out of the corner of my eye. I look behind me and a dog with a big bushy tail was coming towards me, 2 or 3 feet away, with its head down like it was hunting. It froze in place. It's apparent owner was 20 feet back, so I say to him, "Your dog sure looks like a coyote!" He responds "that's not my dog". That's when the very large coyote that had been stalking me ran off into the residual darkness of the field. I have not been back. I fear I may soon be a roadrunner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the park where I grew up in as a child. During the summer time, the park opens up for kids activities such as box hockey, arts and crafts and sports. It even has a shallow concrete pool for the kids to swim in. Three sets of swings. A big jungle gym in the center. A sand pit. A large baseball field at the north side. A covered sitting area. This park really has it all, and it’s a park where children and adults can enjoy very much. Please check it out if you are ever in the neighborhood.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ross Park is nicely situated away from major traffic corridors and offers useful amenities such as a public washroom and pool which complements a set of basic playground equipment. The park and facilities appear to be well maintained.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice rectangular park and high school campus to run some laps around. About 1.5 k per lap. Tennis courts, playground, baseball diamond all present!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This park is a gem! Large open field to run around in and play soccer, multiple swing sets, playground area for children, and lots of benches and picnic tables around. Bathrooms on site as well.
I had gone to this park a lot as a kid and not too much has changed. It also has a small and shallow cement "wading pool". I recall as a kid this being filled with water during the summer though not sure if they still do!
