The worst building I've ever lived in. A lot of noise from the street and neighbours (you can hear them walking, using washroom, cooking), the balcony is so poorly constructed, is always littered by garbage from upstairs neighbours. The window panels are old and can't close properly, you'll always be freezing on winter. Baseboards and heating falling apart even on the so called renovated units. The bathroom always have a bed smell like sulphur gas coming out of it, it doesn't matter how much you clean it.

Beautiful place to live, great views from the balconies, convenience stores and grocery just outside the building. Bus stops also very close, 7 min walk to Glencairn station, 20-25 min walk to Lawrence Square. Peaceful building lots of nature, parks and a trail 5 mins walk away.

I really like!! It’s super accessible by bus, walking or even driving. There are a lot of green spaces. Yorkdale is super close by and there are endless food options to explore. The rent is competitive to other areas.

Edit (May 6, 2021): last week, I got stuck in an elevator for 30 minutes before a tech arrived and got me free. Today, 2 of 3 elevators are out of order. Main review: as of Spring 2021, I have lived at Rosebry square for the past eight years. Everyone has been polite/friendly and generally quick at fixing problems. The elevators, however, remain a constant concern. They break down often, and there is almost always one elevator in service. This leaves only one elevator (out of three) for resident use. During COVID, this is a dangerous issue. When there is only one functional elevator, residents often squish in, 5-7 per elevator. Also, rent has risen in accordance with Toronto prices. A three bedroom is $2800/month now. For such high prices, one would consider that working elevators, and elevators not constantly being on service for contractors, would be easily available. They aren't.

Not sure if people giving 5 stars reviews are really happy with their apartment or that is to get a chance to get $150 Amazon gift card promotional offer for giving reviews on Google going on in Rosebury square. We moved 2 weeks back in 145 marlee handed apartment with many issues. We were said before the lease that everything will be fixed before we will move but they didn’t. When I asked supervisor to fix the issues he was so rude. That’s surprising as we have moved here from USA from an apartment only and management there was at the top of the game. Marketing team for rental is great in whatever they are supposed to do but please talk to the supervisor of the building if you are finalizing this place for yourself because at the end you have to deal with them for any issues. If noise bothers you the place is super noisy too. Though Rooms sizes are good , building is clean , Laundry is good - So 3 stars for that. As long as noise doesn’t bother and you don’t have to deal here with Super ( if you are lucky), the place is good. Please read the review of Natie Leifde - 4 years old that’s accurate description about everything here.

Think before renting here...especially long term. What this place has going for it is that the units are spacious and it's close to subway and good amenities. As others have noted the supers that manage the 141 Lyon building are quite rude and I agree with what others have said about how they interact with you. There is a super in one of other buildings...a guy named Marrion and his wife (if I'm correct), they are very kind and nice. Hope this helps people make the right choice.

For almost $2300 a month rent and the elevators are always not working. They break alot too. Sometimes we hear water flowing from the lifts. And when that happens the whole building smells awful. For 2 years i have never seen the hallway carpets wash or vacuumed. The maintenance guy I believe is very rude he acts like he own the whole entire building. As well as the superintendents husband. A month or two ago they posted about the rehabilitation of the underground garage and one day i was going to work and didn’t know that they started blocking some parts of the garage without informing or just some warnings at the basement that they have done that, it took me about 10-15 mins to figure out myself how to get out of the garage. No signage , its a figure it out yourself kinda thing. My neighbours on the other hand are amazingly nice. (Photo) far left lift broke for like 2-3 weeks far right lift in service .

We contacted the leasing agent for this property on Zumper to view a unit. She told us she had some units available and when we showed up to view the unit it was taken. She also told us the price on Zumper is not the right price and that it hadn’t been that for years. She showed us another unit, we weren’t really interested so left it at that. A few weeks later she messaged me saying she had a few other options so we told her we would be open to see them. Then on the same day we were suppose to meet she texted saying it’s taken. She told us she was going to double check on another. She never got back to us. I wouldn’t waste my time contacting her again.
