★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The store has improved over the last couple of years. Staff are very helpful and go out of their way to assist. Lumber yard is good. This is not a large store and cannot be expected to carry the variety of large home improvement stores. Could work on keeping inventory stocked.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst Rona. Rude staff. Always a long line up at the till and till’s not working. They never have what you need and are unknowledgeable and not very helpful. If you don’t want your time wasted, definitely go elsewhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Drove up from Victoria since the Lowes locations around Victoria canceled a preorder of patio furniture of mine. This Rona put in my order with no deposit and called the morning it arrived. Very friendly staff went above and beyond to help us. Only negative was the hours on google show it closing at 6 when it should say 7... arrived at 5:58 very stressed out to find out I didn’t need to drive quite as fast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I posted this review about Rona and a product I bought from them, surprise surprise they refused to post the review so here it is.
I received this garbage can and it was obviously a return because it had been resealed with Rona tape, when I opened it the lid was missing, I sent an email to Rona telling them about the missing lid and never had a response, so in a nutshell the can is great but will NEVER but from Rona.ca again.

Them: What do you mean ‘decking’?
Me: The floor boards for an outdoor deck.
Them: I’ve never heard of that. Go the lumber yard and look around for yourself. (Turns around and walks away)
Note: Home Depot sells Trex and DuraLife. And they deliver. So I ordered that same day. And they were helpful!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ THROUGHOUT THE PAST 9 YEARS A PROUD STORE WITH CONSISTENT WILLING TO PLEASE STAFF - FRIENDLY. ACCOMMODATING AND VERY WELL MANNERED IN ALL DEPARTMENTS. A WELL DESERVED BOUQUET FOR THEIR FIRST CLASS RESPONSE TO UNEXPECTED ASSEMBLY TROUBLE WITH MY EXPENSIVE WEBER BBQ. THE SPLENDID SAME DAY SERVICE WAS SO IMMEDIATE AND SO GRATIFYING THAT I WAS HAPPILY COMPELLED TO PRESENT ROSES TO THE DILIGENT MANAGER CONCERNED. BUT THE MOST IMPRESSIVE PROFESSIONALISM WAS THAT RECEIVED BY THE TWO MAGNIFICENT DELIVERY STAFF WHOSE POLISHED PUBLIC RELATIONS AND WARM KINDNESS DID THEM IMMENSE CREDIT.
INDEED, I AM A MOST SATISFIED CUSTOMER IN EVERY RESPECT.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A smaller location with limited stock. It's a decent place for taking care of home but prices tend to be higher here. Larger projects become difficult due to stock issues. Staff are always friendly and, in my experience, fairly knowledgeable about their departments.
