★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a wonderful experience at the Rodrigues Farm a few weeks ago. We were warmly welcomed and visited with the chickens, the baby goats and the Peking ducks. You can tell the animals are well cared-for and have free-range of the land. We were fortunate enough to order a freshly processed duck, it was roasted within days of receiving it and very much enjoyed by our family.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a wonderful experience renting chicks from Rodrigues farm. We received “Cheep and Chirp” when they were only a few days old. They arrived with a brooder box, heat source and enough bedding and food to cover their stay with us. The residents at the retirement home absolutely loved watching them grow from cute little fuzzy chicks, to feathered hens. We had many outdoor events revolving around the “chicks”.
When the time came to return the “chicks” to Rodrigues Farm, I was invited to watch them as they got to meet their chicken family for the first time. The life these eggs laying chickens have ahead of them is going to be a long and luxurious life; as the live out their years freely roaming the 5+ acres and eating the best of grain.
We will definitely partake in the chick rental program again next year!
