★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I worked here one summer a few years ago and it was great. The scenery is beautiful the cabins are big, private, and with the comforts of home. The food is excellent and well prepared. Cabins are clean. The dogs are great company. And the people are always friendly! NO COMPLAINTS!

The owner is a salt of the earth, fantastic, trusting, truthful and caring person. Experiences like this are slowly fading from our society. Why not support a small, local business in the heart of the wildest place left in Alberta?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is amazing! Laura the lady that runs it is a great gal offering great hospitality and a very unique experience. The cabins are beautiful and well kept. the views are stunning and some great trails for hiking so of the most beautiful landscape the mountains have to offer. I highly recommend this place if your looking for a getaway to the mountains. I will be back soon!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Remote Cabin Excursion. Our visit was on the Easter long weekend.
Fresh snow fall on the way in, and t shirt weather the next day on the patio. Away from everything but nature.
HOT running water. Nice full size shower. Excellent wood burning furnace. Clean, Fresh mountain water, from the tap. Beautiful patio. Sweet, outdoor griddle. True Surround Sound, crystal clear, natural silence, and 360° panoramic mountain and forest visuals. The Cabin is so cozy, it makes you, want poor weather outside, so you can stay indoors, and enjoy the complementary wine and chips/crisps provided.
The second day, I was so relaxed, I had are hard time distancing myself from the comfy queen bed and the perfectly placed wood heater.
Location is remote, so bring your bush smarts, and your appreciation for nature. On the way in we seen a few deer. On the way out however, we seen a smaller Brown Bear on the road. It quickly scrambled up the slope and disappeared into the forest. There was also Elk sign near the Cabins, close to the frozen creek, and was pleased to meet the resident Gray Jays/"Robber Jays/Whiskey Jacks". Which you can read all about in the "Birds of Alberta" book, provided for your researching pleasure.
And the lovely owners? Well they are both absolutely delightful.
On a five start scale, this mountain get away, is a perfect TEN.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our Birthday Weekend Getaway was absolutely perfect! The cabins are beautiful and very well equipped. Our Hosts were super and went above and beyond expectations. It was perfect and our hosts even made me a birthday cake from scratch! They were so nice, accommodating , always with a wave and a smile or great conversations. Add this place to your bucket list! Truly!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can honestly say that this was one of the most peaceful, relaxing, calming places I have been too. It was definitely worth the drive which itself, is not like anywhere I have been! No cell, no TV, just nature, beauty and quiet. You don't get to fall asleep to the crackle of the fire and wake up to the birds with no other sounds many other places. We had every type of weather in the 2 days we were there. Sun with no coat sitting on the deck and then 2 minutes later a beautiful snow fall and 2 minutes later beautiful sun again and it would all start to melt. The owners, Gary and Julia are very thoughtful and put a lot of work into having this amazing escape. They left a little note and a bottle of wine which gives it that little extra special touch that makes you feel even more welcome. They are there if you need anything, otherwise, it's just you and the view and nature. I highly recommend making the trip! We will definitely be back there soon!
