★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great lookout spot. It's right at the junction where Gatineau river meets Ottawa river. The views are spectacular. On a clear day, if you are passing by, this is a spot you should not be missing. Spend some time taking in the views. It would be the best if this place had a few benches where you can picnic or hangout on a sunny day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very beautiful place to see nature and walk. Lots of space for picnics and bike. There are trails to down the Ottawa river. Beautiful views of Gatineau across the river.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is an observation deck, a pier below, and a boat restaurant, but the restaurant is closed during the epidemic. There are a lot of yachts parked at the pier, and there is a large parking lot, but only yacht clubs are allowed to park here. You can see the confluence of the Ottawa River and the Gatineau River, the scenery is beautiful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While visiting the Prime Minister's and Governor General's residences it is nice to go a bit farther along Sir George Etienne Cartier parkway to see the Aviation and Space museum and the RCMP horse stables. I recommend that on your journey to stop and take a look from the scenic view from the lookout point. There you can have a great view of the Ottawa River, Ottawa's Marina and on the other side of the water, Gatineau Quebec.
There are also some nice bike trails in the area that you can take advantage of on this adventure. The trail is in good shape and there are some small hills, but not too difficult of a ride.
