★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A friendly, neat, and modestly priced motel that seemed to attract knowledgeable frequent business travellers and was located within easy walking distance of a few inexpensive eateries along the main strip of New Hazelton, a trim village amidst forested mountains about 50 minutes drive north of Smithers, BC. (Don't miss a side visit to historic Old Hazelton.) Relatively quiet, although the entire town may experience a small amount of morning and late day train noise. Rooms were simple and older but were clean and included microwave and small fridge, and free WiFi. We chatted amiably with other travelers, some of whom were grilling steaks on the provided outdoor grill. Staff held the last available room for us and, since their one pet-friendly room was already taken, they kindly bent the rules to let our pooch stay with us anyway (+$10).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean and tidy, with a refrigerator and microwave. Friendly service. Very comfortable bed. Great location next to a pretty little park, in a beautiful BC town. Everyone I met here was friendly and welcoming. Couldn't have been nicer! ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean, comfortable, owner very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable about the area helped us organize our short stay. Incredible view of the mountains across from the hotel and a short walk to a great trail. Would stay here again even though it is an older, less modern place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very cute motel. The rooms are very clean. They have three different covers on the mattresses before they even put the fitted sheet on.
Usually I don't have anyone in to clean during my stay, forgot to leave the sign on the door so they came in. I had tea left in my strainer and they even cleaned that up! Very tidy, windows open well, and it's in a quiet area next to a lovely park. Also conveniently located in town so you can walk to restaurants or the grocery store. Room had a blowdrier, microwave, coffee pot, and a mini fridge with a mini freezer too!
They have nice toiletries from a Canadian company as well.
