The Rainy River Health Centre has 3 Acute care beds for medical conditions such as respiratory problems, diabetes and its complications, strokes and GI problems are a few of the most common diagnosis. We have a 24 hour emergency department with a physician on call 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Our X-ray department is open 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Monday to Wednesday and 1:00PM to 5:00 pm Thursday and Friday.

We have 21 Long Term Care beds. The LTC component has 13 private rooms and 4 double rooms. The Multidisciplinary Team is made up of Registered Nurses, Registered Practical Nurses, Health Care Aides, Administrative Staff and Support Staff of Housekeeping, Dietary and Maintenance.

A Dietician visits bi-monthly and Diabetic Educators visit weekly. A community counsellor is available Monday to Friday. The Community Care Access Centre has an office in the facility as well.

The Rainy River Medical Clinic is attached to the facility as well as Home Support Office, which provides Meals on Wheels and Loan Cupboard.
