★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great old homes converted into a lovely b&b. Loved the last minute availability when the entire city is full. Stayed in the garden room. Missed having a bathroom attached to the room, but for the price and location it was fair. Would stay again.

You're savvy travelers since you figured out Calgary-Rockies-Edmonton is the smart choice to go from Banff to Lake Jasper rather than starting in Vancouver. Now you feel like a genius because you've arrived at River Wynde and checked it out. Steps from downtown Calgary, awesome room (top floor, outside porch), excellent breakfast, beautiful gardens, very clean. But the best is when you meet the owner Deanne...it's like you just arrived at your friend's house after a long absence. Ambiance, friendship, location. Wowza and at THIS low price!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My Wife and I spent a night at River Wynde for our wedding anniversary and truly had an amazing experience. Both Deanne and Susan made us feel so comfortable and at home and went to great lengths to see that our requests were met. I would HIGHLY recommend staying in this quaint and cozy B&B. What a stunning neighbourhood also. We will be staying here again as soon as possible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ must say that my wife and i were very disappointed with this bed and breakfast ... as we entered calgary we were looking forward to a quaint stay in a trendy neighbor hood like Kensington. but this B&B ruined our trip.. the beds were very uncomfortable, the house was old and run down, and the management was rude and unfriendly as though they were doing us a favor by staying there.. i should have listened to the negative reviews on this site... the positive ones look fake as though they hired marketers to post them up.
