★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is great for all year round. Great park for the little one's, with a splash pad to avoid the heat in the summer, and two outdoor rinks and an indoor to skate on in the winter. Lots of activities here

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Like the arena & playground. Rink patrol staff are nice. I have been going to the R.H.C.C. for about 30 years. My only complaint is that the Management is stubborn & REFUSES to set a section of the skating rink aside during the FAMILY skates for young children who are beginners &/or are learning how to skate! I have respectfully told & asked the Management in the past that the Eric Coy Arena & St. James Civic Centre section-off 1/4 of their rinks for the SAFETY of younger children to skate. WHY can't the River Heights Arena do the same?! There is NO reason they can not. The only thing they do is close off the centre-ice circle for the young kids. That is too small & not safe & rather pointless. The Management does NOT seem to care much about safety & are inflexible. This is not impressive. I encourage other parents to please go to management about this & pressure them to change the policy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice playground with water pat. Great for the Summer. Also, the area is nicely shaded. The main drawback is, there's no WC facilities. The community centre is locked most of the time, so you're pretty much on your own.
