★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I hired Rivard for a current (July/August 2017) market assessment of my 4300sq ft Vernon BC home... the associate stated he was going to have a hard time assessing my home, perhaps because of the size, additions, and 8 bedrooms etc... but when they used a 6 month old comparable that sold in the middle of winter that was approx $100,000 less than the market value of my home, the result was a reduced value of my home, and increased capital gains in any future sale (because I have a legal suite that constitutes a "business"). I Do Not recommend this company. I had doubts because another google reviewer had a similar experience... I mistakenly thought this was just someone complaining online... now I find myself feeling the fool for having used Rivard&Assoc.
