Rise and Shine Montessori

With our son staying in this school for two good years, we are not hesitated to recommend Rise and Shine Montessori school to anyone who is looking for a professional nurturing preschool and daycare for their little ones. The small but cozy setting in this school is very charming and unique. The little library is frequently updated with topics that fit the theme of current curriculum. The ocean themed sleeping room is so calming and it helps children to have well rested time before continuing the day with more fun learning. Ms. Rose and Ms. Mabel teach children to be kind, smart and lovable. Other than effective step-by-step teachings in numbers, shapes, colours, spelling, and other accademic development, they also put focus on helping the kids to have good virtues and be a better self. Ms. Rose is not only a wonderful teacher but also a compassionate friend to us. She was so thoughtful to send us updates with pictures almost everyday when our three-year-old just started the preschool days so we knew what happened to our sweetheart before a long day without seeing him. In the snowy days when the 20 minute pickup commute suddenly turned out to be 1.5 hours, she kindly kept our son safe and warm in her school with extra snack and fun activities without any complaints at all. She also gave us a lot of good advice in helping our children to get over the challenges and resources to get useful books and tools for kids. There are too much more good things to say about this school and Ms. Rose from our two-year experience with her. You will probably find out more if you give it a try yourself! ?

Ms. Rose and Ms. Mabel were an important part of our lives for nearly 5 years. Both my children attended Rise and Shine Montessori and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. As parents who work often more than full time, my husband and I could leave our children in the care of the school staff knowing our children would be cared for as well as we both could ourselves. Ms. Rose's dedication to early childhood education, fostering a love for reading, encouraging curiosity and teaching empathy helped us get the best start to raising our children in the best possible way. A simple thank you does not suffice but we are forever grateful to have had such a beautiful start to our children's educations. All the best in the future! We miss you Ms. Rose and Ms. Mabel!

I highly recommend Rise and Shine Montessori! They have a beautiful centre with two loving staff and a smaller amount of students - around 10 ish..The centre has the most amazing outdoor play area in the backyard that I've seen with swings, see saws, bikes, sand areas, slides etc for the children to play in every day. The learning resources, toys, materials and books are all wonderful. My son loved going there for almost 2 years and we felt completely reassured knowing that he was in such good care. He learned so much naturally. He picked up phonics, letter-sound identification, numbers, rhyming etc through all the lessons and activities that they have. The centre has a very peaceful feel to it. It is a safe place with clear routines and expectations and we highly recommend it!

We are so glad that we found Rise & Shine and made the right choice! Ms. Rose and Ms. Mabel have showered our son with hugs and cuddles since the first day he arrived. I feel so relax and comfortable being back at work. Our son really thrived and learned so much. He even finished Kumon Grade 1 Comprehension Reading and started multiplication Math! Ms. Rose also becomes my personal mentor and sister. My son’s very first school years are the priceless memory for everyone in our family. Thank you with all of our heart!

A truly wonderful environment that played a major role in the positive growth that my son had during his couple years there. Miss Rose and Miss Mabel are both lovely people that care deeply for the children as if their own. We are very happy with the experience we had at Rise and Shine Montessori, would happily do it all over again, and would highly recommend it to others. Miss Rose is strict, which is a good thing, and also has a good sense of humor. I believe she secretly wishes to be the Queen of England and appreciates being addressed as "your highness" or "your majesty". She may or may not admit to this. =)

I am happy to leave my child with Ms.Rose and Ms. Mable. They are very responsible teachers. My daughter was very shy at first. When she graduated from Rise and Shine montessori, she became very outgoing. Also, she learned a lot of disciplines and good habits. For example, she shares toys to others. She knows how to wash her hands properly. My daughter could not speak at very beginning, but now she can read English letters and numbers very clearly. She also takes the initiative to learn to do her homework. All these can not be separated from the cultivation of Ms. Rose and Ms.Mabel. I can feel that my kid receives lots of love and care from Ms. Rose and Ms. Mabel. I am very grateful to them for raising my child so well. I feel lucky to have met them, too. They treat their children as if they were their own. This is the best teacher I've ever seen!

All 3 of my children attended Rise & Shin Montessori from the age of 2.5 until they began KG. Ms Rose & Ms Mabel showed my babies unconditional love, genuine care & affection, and patience. They had my kids understand their full potentials, and taught them to always be curious. They taught them to believe in theirselves whole heartedly. My children began their most formative years in the hands of two women who filled their bodies with confidence. As a mother, choosing the right place for where I would leave my babies was the hardest decision to make. In the care of these two wonderful humans, I knew that they were loved just as much as they are at home. I am forever grateful ❤️

Rise and shine is just like a home for us. Ms. Rose and Ms. Mable care about our kid even more than us. They always teach us not to give much sugar to kid. It's not just my kids who are learning a lot. We also learned a lot about how to be a parent. Compared with large daycare, children will receive more care and attention here. My children can learn enough knowledge at rise and shine. We never worry about my kid‘s study. We haven't found a teacher as patient as Ms.Rose and Ms. Mabel since we left here. Rose and Shine really is a treasure kindergarten. We are very grateful to our teachers for taking care of our kid.
