Staff were helpful, had the tools and materials we need for patio project.

Good prices, staff in all departments have always been very helpful and knowledgeable. From hot water tanks to Fendocks and lumber and plumbing supplies. My go to store for when I'm fixing or building things at the cottage.

I was really stunned by this Home Hardware. They are just a tad smaller than the big box stores yet they had all fixings I needed that I just could not find elsewhere, such as oil rubbed bronze tile edges. Home Hardware really has become my goto. They are just better.

Home hardware has so many awesome things! They have a solution to every problem a home owner can have. Just ask the staff and they'll gladly take you to the aisle with exactly what you need.

called about having patio door installed at my cottage. Was a quick booking for the appointment, as they were coming to the area in a few days... great on that front. Quick response. The reason they got any stars at all. Kevin showed up on time and did the measurements needed and was out the door just as quickly. Polite and friendly. Said I should have the quote by end of day tuesday at the latest... Also added in another door I needed to get replaced. Apr 8th they were on site. Called they store to talk to Kevin on Thursday as I hadn't see the quote. Was informed that his computer had died/wasn't working, and they were coming the following week to fix it.. Called at the end of the following week was told the computer still wasn't fixed, they were coming to completely redo it the following week. You can start to see a trend here... Called again and was told they were not fished fixing it, but would be back the next day Called back again at the end of the week and was told he had a backlog, but gave me a rough price for the patio door at 1500 max. Said they couldn't do the entrance door, as it was a custom size they just couldn't get done. Fine. Also told quote would be coming. Called back today, May 19th... So 6 weeks minus a day. Was told by kevin at the window desk that it was in his pile to do, and then started saying that he may not be able to get his installers to go there as it was far (50 minutes from store according to Google Maps). And a few other reasons I won't get into. Basically wasn't interested in doing the work is how it comes across. I would NOT recommend getting them to install anything based on this experience. They may do good work, but if you cannot even be upfront, open, honest and get a quote out the door at the start of the process, i doubt it will improve.

Stock is getting better after the Covid supply chain issue. The best fastener selection I've ever seen. It's a real builder's hardware so don't expect much in the way of housewares and fancy stuff
