★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Contracted by Richply (Richmond Plywood Corporation) to repaint one of their workboats. Talked us down in cost, continued to try and negotiate during the job once estimate and contract was signed. We told them that the job will be an extra 35 or 40 hours. They quickly approved it. Once job was finished, we were no longer able to reach them for 3 weeks. We, as per our contract agreement we were given permission to lock up their boat if they are overly tardy on payments. They then appeared and were suddenly able to reach us. Talked us down another 600.00 implying that if we didn’t give it to them, that they wouldn’t pay. We agreed and then they called back to tell us that we should send to collections as they have decided not to pay! You work for them at your own risk and peril. And yes, we do have a collection agency! Cheers
