I would like to introduce you to a novel shopping experience that has existed in Regina since 1988.

Rhoda’s is my life time labour of love. Having raised two wonderful daughters as a single Mom, I knew the reality of life on “little money.” I also knew the reality of putting everything and everybody ahead of myself, leaving little for a clothing budget!

From this time I also realized how important it was as a woman to remain strong and having a high self- esteem certainly helped. That’s where Rhoda’s comes into the picture. The better you look, the better you feel!

So I welcome you to my store, my labour of love, my way of helping women on their life journeys. Our stores are neat, organized and make you feel comfortable and welcome. The prices are low 50-80% off retail and the quality is high. My gracious staff will assist you with advice, not pressure to buy.

No argument there. But if you’re a self reliant shopper you will have no problem shopping and finding an item here.

My past few experiences have been somewhat unpleasant as the employees have been quite rude. I have now had my last experience with them as the employee criticized the way I was trying on clothes, was demeaning, rude and made me feel so small and belittled. None of the other employees did anything to curb this woman's behavior and treatment of me. When I confronted the woman and said that I have never been treated so rudely she still claimed that I was wrong for the way I was handling the clothes. As a grown woman, I believe I can try on clothes without incident just fine. I do not recommend shopping there if you want to have a positive experience. Loom and Magpie would never have this kind of service.

Constantly telling me my items are not brands/styles they accept even though they have similar or identical things on the floor (like the gap or kensie). I see things like old navy and joe fresh there so not sure why the gap is unacceptable? I have bought things there in used condition and never used them then when I tried to drop these items off to sell a few months later they wouldn’t accept them due to condition? If you go anytime near store closing they will remind you constantly of the closing time and try to hurry you out the door. I went half an hour before close once and they already had the lights turned off in the sale and shoe areas and gave me the dirtiest look when I asked them to turn the lights back on. Store is extremely run down, the roof leaks and they had bags over racks of clothes with buckets everywhere. I no longer consign there and choose to sell things myself or go to loom and magpie.

I think it's very helpful, especially in these covid times, that local businesses are encouraging sustainability, affordability, and re-cycling as much as possible. The staff are very knowledgeable and kind whenever I drop clothing off. There is a tall lady who works the floor who is always there to give me a second opinion. I'm a performance artist, and I have picked up some AMAZING pieces for costumes. They have also have frequent sales, which makes the clothing super affordable. Thanks Rhoda's! ❤

The quality of the clothing is consistently good but the styles are often slightly outdated, but it's sort of like a thrift store where occasionally there are stellar gems. Prices range from $10 to $100+ depending on the item. Most items aren't expensive. Change rooms can be quite a wait. Last time I had to literally wait ten minutes. I'd say this place offers a unique shopping experience for someone patient, on a budget, and willing to leave empty-handed. It's a cute store but I wouldn't say it's my go to because there is a good chance I won't buy anything.

She loved shopping and loved quality clothes and had never gone to a second hand clothes store before. She was so impressed by the selection and the prices that whenever she visited she wanted to go to Rhoda. And the store is very clean and I always find clothes I love there.
