There was two instances where they forgot about our drinks all together and I had to go up and ask for them to make them. For $7 a coffee I would hope that more care and attention would be put in. The baked goods are delicious though!
k	kelly k on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love the space - very well designed, nice seating, and a decent patio area. I’ve tried a few of the sandwiches and wraps and they have all been delish! Donuts were disappointing, the ones I’ve had were quite dry and had little to no filling…maybe it was an off day for the bakers. All the counter staff have been super friendly and personable! There’s a lady that’s always sitting at the bar with her lap top and talking to the staff - maybe the manager? She has a weirdly pretentious vibe - every time I’ve been there I feel like she’s scowling at me? It’s very odd because the rest of the staff are lovely. I’ve worked in customer service for 20+ years and a friendly demeanour and smile go a long way to make guests feel welcome!

Also ordered a couple donuts, and while they’re nicely decorated, the dough part was a bit bland/tasteless. I’ve been going to Rhino for close to 8 years and this seems to be the shortfall of their donuts.

They need more outside seating. It was a gorgeous day and they only had one table outside so we had to sit inside. Overall, good experience.

Also the staff are incredibly kind, as I immediately dropped my coffees and box of donuts on the floor but they were instantly replaced. Which was not at all expected but so appreciated. It's fantastic to have another independent dining option in Langford. I'm looking forward to seeing them thrive!

I ordered two breakfast items (wrap and bagel) which were so delicious and packed full of good stuff. Def recommend. Latte was good as well. I went to order 4 donuts and the cashier told me "If you get 6 it's cheaper,", to which I thought "Oh cool, they add free donuts". They should've used different wording because I found out after I paid that its cheaper "per donut" if you get 6, not cheaper overall. I would've stuck with 4, and saved myself $8 for ones that I didn't really want anyways. The apple fritters are good but they don't need the heavy cream cheese. My dairy free partner was disappointed when he saw how much cream cheese was added (never seen before, only on cinnamon buns). It would be awesome if they could have half their selection without the cream cheese or glaze so that people can choose if they want it or not. Overall good food and space.
