Restaurant Charros

Service is awful, they are barely polite, take forever to get your food even if the place is empty, and the wait is not worth it. Some dishes are somewhat tasty but some other are just not good. However they charge you like is the best place in town. And I definitely not recommend this restaurant as a Mexican food place, that's not what it is.

I love this place! The food is authentic and delicious, and you can’t beat the price! The 4 tacos for $5 is a fantastic deal, I recommend the beef ones. The service is nothing special but also not terrible, and with the food quality and price, it doesn’t really bother me. Definitely check this place out if you’re in the area!

Food was tasteless, horchata tastes like soap and milk, ordered taquitos and a Honduras platter and being from Honduras it was a disgrace to our cuisine. I had been a customer for years, will not be going back. You cannot serve a platter with overcooked meat, brown guacamole, tasteless beans and tacos that are supposed to be carnitas and taste like tuna. You just lost a customer.

Friendly restaurant, feels like Mexico! They made vegetarian tacos for me even if it was not on the menu! Very authentic, worth the lunch ! Awesome prices as well.

Upadte: I went back to Charros yesterday and the food was equally as good as the first time and the service was so much better. They have a new waitress and she was amazing. This time I took pics of the amazing food! I had the beef tacos. They were amazing so were the fajitas. Service is a bit slow but the food is great.

Well to start on that day it was super cold!! 3 weeks ago i was goin to the hair salon and i saw this little place that i pass in front for the past 8 years +! So i was starving and i decided to stop by while waiting for my hairdresser to be ready. I went in and asked what was the special of the day and she told me there was 4 tacos for 5$!!! I was like "what kind of tacos im gonna get at this point" ..... so i ordered 'al pastor' my fav and 'biftecca', paid and say i will be back, but 25 mins later it still was'nt ready! I was dyin inside but hey when i started eating theses beautiful tacos with the green spicy sauce and i was happy and didnt think about the waitin!!! It was all worth it!!! And the price?! Come on!!! I am lucky not to live in this area because i would go there everyday for lunch!!! Hahahaha UPDATE: June 27/21 3 years later still my fav tacos place in Montreal and i just drove 6 hrs here n first stop was Charros! And im not even shy to say i ate 8 tacos. They were delicious and wow i missed it! Thank you so much for makin good and tasty loving food! And like i show here no greasy plate! No greasy Tacos shells and they definitely homemade too and best tacos are made with Corn shells! The sauce us tasty, spicy but not too much just enough. Everything you can feel is freshly made and oh i was forgetting the rice!!!!!!! Have the white rice w your tacos on the side, thank me later! And for the people saying they take their sweet time, i would say don’t come here if u want express already made tacos! Go to tacos belle. Here they make everything to order and thats why it is fresh and tasty also i never missed sauce for my tacos! I always get a cup per plate and its more than enough for 4 small tacos sold 5$ ? Never had a bad service either. Maybe you have to say what you want and how you want it and that would help the service. I worked front and back of the house and i can say they do it with Love. They are not Chefs and waitresses. Its a family own place! Give them a try i promise u 4 years old and i always get a smile and good service ?

Typical Mexican food near to jean talon station. The service was good but little bit slow. Food used to be better. This time the sauces was missing the spicy taste and all dishes we ordered seems to use same tomato sauce. It could be better as it was before. However I still like it. The ambiance could improve also(cleaner, better illumination, music maybe)
