I picked this place to eat at random when looking at a map. We were staying in Rawden and thought it would be neat to check out Joliette for an evening. Little did we know that we'd discover the best Indian place in Quebec. Between then incredibly friendly service, helpful suggestions, and the very nice decor, we were already pleased coming into it. The COVID-conscious safety procedures were also welcome. Then we saw the menu: wow! It is diverse. That is not always a guarantee that the food is good, but it sure feels nice, especially when some of the choices are things you don't see in 'standard' Indian places. New recipes for us to maybe explore: check. The first course was the soup, which I frequently enjoy in Indian food as a sort of bland but pleasant affair. My wife had the dhal, I had mulligatawny. Boy were we in for a shock: the soup was outrageously good. If you eat here, I strongly recommend the mulligatawny especially; you will not get one like it elsewhere. It is spicy and filled with things. Next we had two curries which were cooked phenomenally. One was for my wife - a yogurt recipe not even found on the menu (chef's choice!) - and so that's not for me since I don't like yogurt flavor. I had the wok-cooked mixed meat dish, which was sensational. We also ordered a beef naan bread, which if you don't know what that is that makes two of us. This was so insanely good I was envious of my baby eating so much of it. Who does he think he is eating my bread, anyhow. This meal was so good we didn't know what to do with ourselves, so later in our 4-day trip we decided the best move was to come back again rather than go to a new place and probably get an ok experience. Besides, it's a 90 minute drive for me to go here again, so we weren't going to waste our chance to go again while we were in the area. I'd say the second meal was even better than the first. TRY THE TANDOORI SHRIMP. It's awesome, and the tandoori here is above what you will get in most places. Also my personal favorite was the okra curry chicken dish. Yes, you heard that right: okra. It probably had turmeric or something in there too. Guess what: this is a dynamite dish. Get it. This time I got a chai to finish, which was outstanding. Nothing here is too rich, nothing swimming in sauce, crazy good preparation, not too much oil, and best selection you'll see. My only regret is that I don't live in Joliette, so it will be a pain to go back. Maybe if I plan another trip further than Joliette I might just have to drop in here 'on the way'...

While driving back from Saint-Ignace-de-Loyola to Montreal, my wife and i were craving Indian food so we found this place on google and let me tell you... WE WERE NOT DISSAPOINTED! Service was absolutely amazing and the food was tasty and fresh. Once the dining opens up, we will drive back to dine in.

Wow, best Indian food in Canada, and it's not in Montreal. I tried a bunch of different options and it was all amazing. The naan is specially delicious. The owner is very friendly, nice ambiance, good prices. I recommend!

If you are from indian continent you may not like as it is not spicy, not enough spices used or cooked strong. But for local people, good enough.

This is a complete scam restaurant. The quality is too bad. No salt. No spicy. Curry is like desert. For every recipe of chicken, they use butter chicken and add few extra stuff to name a new recipe. Vegetables were just Frozen stuffs from Walmart. Recipes are priced more than average but the quantity is too low. Only the basmati rice and tandoori roti is good. Everything else is just a scam. Foreigner gets scammed since they don't know what authentic Indian food is. Bangladesh recipe are listed on menu and they're not even good at making Bangladesh recipe. They just smile all time and put up a decent ambience. Instead they should invest more into making of food. If you're Indian don't even try to taste water here as even water might be a scam. If you're a foreigner better don't judge what Indian food is after eating here . For restaurant owner.....what do you get by scamming people?
