Don't EVER go here. They charged me $500 for a 10km tow!!! The guy who arrived on scene had a real attitude. He charged me $70 just in clean up fees which consisted of picking up 2 pieces of small metal off the road. On top of that they scammed me by making me sign over my car for scrap hidden in when I signed the bill. When I tried to claim my car the next day he demanded an additional $250 to re sell me my own vehicle. Insurance won't cover the accident and I'm broke cause of this. The guy had no compassion and only cares about ripping you off and stealing your stuff. I broke down crying begging for my car. He refused and started swearing, violently threatened me and chased me yelling and screaming get out of his business. This was the day after the incident and I slipped a disk in my neck and had a cracked knee cap. All that didn't seem to bother the owner when he literally made me run for the safety of my life. I'm having to take this guy to civil court in order to get my personal belongings back. The RCMP are of course useless and won't help. Bill is a total nut! Watch out!

Unfortunately for us we did not have our registration for insurance papers with us in the newly bought vehicle therefore we got pulled over by Innisfail RCMP on Highway 2 just off the Didsbury overpass and instead of letting us get the papers brought to us they had it towed. So as money is tight for everybody these days we had to borrow the money to get our SUV out . As it was to try to find someone with an "extra 495 $" but thankfully we found a friend who did ! This being a long weekend ,I understand it is a Holliday,but i also know there are drivers that live in the close vacinity ,as they are personal friends so im not mistaken on this fact! So excited to finally get our SUV back so that we can go to Thanksgiving dinner with friends as this Holliday is not an easy one as I lost a son on Thanksgiving 2009 and my father in law passed in early 2020 so its our first Thanksgiving with out him also . Needless to say being stuck on an acerage 16klm out of the town isnt real good to try and find transportation ! A cab ride into Didsbury is 50$ one way ! Sadly the dinner was in Red Deer so now we have to ask for help AGAIN , never mind we are running out of staples here ,milk ,bread ,and completely out of cat and dog food ! We figured as I know has happened with others ,when a driver goes or returns from a call we couldn't get our SUV out of the yard ,this way it wouldn't inconvenience anyone but us as we would have to wait for driver to come to the yard.BUT, matter to us we just wanted our SUV out and able to get necessitates as we have had no transportation sence the Tuesday prior. As it is,the tow ,that was less 15 klm tow and the bill when i called was 415.00 and that was after only 3 days in the impound ! The owner started out saying "your total is 600and....oh hang on let me re do this...Ok 415 , and its 40$ a day for impound fees ,it adds up fast !" As he chuckled .At this point I was in tears and said " I don't have that kind of money , my husband isn't working because of the COVID,so if i cant find anyone to help us out , ill lose my SUV !!!" I was now absolutely panicked as the thought of us losing our only running vehicle and not living anywhere even close to a store , everything was going through my head. So today i phoned and very politely and excited said " Hi this is ....and i have the money to get our SUV out of the impound!" His reply " we are not open today , Infact we are not open untill Tuesday morning! Sorry about your luck !". I asked " what ? Are you kidding me ? You don't understand , im out of food for my anmials, I have only a ride to your yard , couldn't you please do me this favor ? Please ? Im sorry for the inconveniences caused by this but im desperate and I need your help ! I also wont be able to come up with an extra 80$ as is i had to get money from BC e-transfer to me , i cant ask for more , please ..." " Sorry about your luck your going to have to come up with the extra and you out of luck untill Tuesday AM to get your SUV. Oh if you don't have the full amount you wont be getting your SUV"! So no food for my cats and dogs,no milk Thanksgiving for my partner &myself will not be this year . I have always been proud to tell people about the town of Didsbury, how friendly everyone was, and support,small town mind set,neighbours helping neighbours and how people here are always ready to help out when someone is in need regardless of a stranger or long time friend . All i can say is STAY AWAY FROM THESE MONEY GRABBING LIERS! First off the Innisfail rcmp followed us from the transfer station on the 582 all the way down the on ramp and waited untill we actually had 4 tires on the QE 2 Now as far as safty goes WTH was this officer thinking ? This was not safe on any level when he could have done the stop on a far less busy road way , or even into the safety lane on the on ramp going to the QE2 Second why do we have to pay another 80 because he doesn't want to go to the yard , never mind we were willing to wait at the yard for a driver , so at thier convince, but there was no way.
