Renewal by Andersen of Greater Toronto

I had three local companies provide a window replacement quote. One was the standard vinyl window priced as expected, second was the same stuff, but much more expensive. Anderson came in with a non-vinyl option. I chose the newer technology and was provided a precise quote and regular communication throughout the process. Jimmy came in to verify the initial measurements, taking into account the existing ones were not the correct size. Finally, the windows were delivered (on-time) by a experienced crew of three: Jesus. Edgar and Juan. Perfectly sized and expertly installed...the team did an excellent job from start to finish despite the -10c February day. You get what you pay for and Anderson is nice stuff with a team to back it up.

Had Patio Door installed: Gliding, 200 Series Perma-Shield, 2 Panel, Active / Stationary, Exterior Black, Interior Blass, Glass: All Sash: Tempered High Perf., Hardware, Albany, Black, Auxiliary Foot Lock Color Matched, Screen: Gliding, Full Screen, Grille Style: No Grille, Misc: Cut down in double brick (incl. toothing at sill and new sill), Given smartsun glass as free upgrade. Thanks to my Design Consultant Stefano Tamburello who thoroughly explained everything I was getting and how well built the patio doors would be. I found the installation and quality was as well as he told me it would be. My project Manager was Justin Marshall; a very good guy! He was at my house when measurements were made for patio doors and cut out, and during the cut out and installation. Justin thoroughly explained how the job was going to progress and assured that he would be around to answer any questions, which he was! Thank You Justin! You made the project run very smoothly. My two installers Adam and Ashiel were very good; they cut the inside of the patio door opening and installed the door perfectly; when everything was done the site was left clean, patio windows and frame were spotless; they went over the install, the patio doors function and best way to maintain it. Thank you guys for doing a great Job with my Patio door cut out and install I love it Special thanks to Perry Gale who did a perfect job cutting the outside brick for installation of the patio door

You know the saying measure twice and cut once, well I ordered myself a very large 28x28 garden planter for my balcony and the size of the planter was greater than the sized opening of our lovely new sliding doors from Andersen could squish through. I was in trouble. Then I got a call from Julie and my screen for my new slider doors was available for install. Can we send someone tomorrow? Yes, please! Jacob R. came on time and ready to install my new screen door. I presented Jacob with my garden planter problem and asked if it were possible to remove the sliders and reinstall so I can place my new planter on the balcony. Without hesitation, Jacob said don’t worry, it can be done. He carried the very large planter up three sets of stairs, removed the sliders and reinstalled. Installed my new screen door. Made extra sure everything was moving perfectly, cleaned up and with a big smile declared he was done and made sure that I was fully satisfied. Huge, thank you Jacob R. for your wonderful kindness in helping me with my garden planter and the great reinstall/install of the patio sliders and screen. Great service!

I have been very impressed with this company from start to finish. Although installation had to be staggered due to limitations beyond their control due to COVID whatever could be done straight away was. I most recently had the pleasure of working with Jacob who came on one of the later installs for our screen door. A few tweaks from the initial install were required and he was very willing and helpful to inspect and to make sure they were corrected. Each time he has come out he has gone above and beyond to check things over to make sure the product is performing up to it's optimal ability which I really appreciate. Jacob is very professional but also very personable. Overall by experience with this company has been very positive and I will definitely be contacting them for the next job.

We couldn’t be happier with our new windows! Nelson, Juan and Jesus made sure the installation process was seamless. They took great care to keep our home clean during this process. We were told that the install would take 2 days and they stuck to their schedule and got the job done right! They were all very professional and easy to talk to. They always had time for questions if we needed to ask. They also made sure to confirm with us how we wanted our windows installed before doing so to make sure we were happy with everything! They all brought a happy and positive attitude each day which made having them around that much more enjoyable. We will definitely be working with Anderson again in the future and when we do, I’ll insist we get the dream team of Nelson, Juan and Jesus once again! Thank you for everything guys!

We had our install of windows and patio doors done on Aug 25th. Could not be more happy! We’ve gotten quotes and met consultants from other companies, prior to choosing Renewal by Andersen. No other company can compare to Renewal by Andersen! I’m so happy that we choose this company to do our install. From the very first meeting with Chris, to our meeting with Jim and the installers; everything went so smoothly and with the utmost professionalism. Chris took the time in explaining their products, the installation process, financing process, and all options available. At no point, during the consultation did we feel pressured to make a decision. Chris’s honesty and professionalism was very refreshing and most welcomed. Jim came in to do the measurements and finalized the installation information. Again, he was very kind, and explained all that was needed, and answered all questions. Even followed up on the day of install, by coming by to make sure all was going well. Once the install was done, got another follow up call the next day, to make sure we were happy! The installers did such a good job! Everything was cleaned up before they left. Already getting complemented on our new windows, from the neighbors. ? Our only issue now is that we cannot decide if to put back up the blinds and curtains because the windows and patio door looks so nice without them ? HUGE THANK YOU TO THE RENEWAL BY ANDERSEN TEAM!!!!…. Will definitely be calling you soon to do the remaining windows.

We have lived in our home for 21 years. We had been discussing new windows for a few years and in the mail we received a flyer from Renewal By Andersen. I called and made a 90 minute consultation appointment. We met with Michael in August. Michael is not your 'typical' salesman. He actually cared and listened to our concerns, answered at least 500 questions, did a walk through and looked at the 17 windows and 3 doors to be replaced, measured them all and then sat down with us to discuss options. Michael had window samples with him, along with a heat demo of their SmartSun windows. We were blown away with how efficiently the SmartSun window sample kept the heat out. Our house is a furnace in the summer with the sun beating through the windows. Michael went through styles of windows and doors for each room with us, deciding on sliders, casement, canopy etc. Michael spent abut 4 hours with us that day while we made decisions about all of the windows and doors - he never pressured us once to move forward. We were nervous going into the appointment, but felt excited and relieved when we signed the contract that day. Within the next week, Nathan, our project manager came to our home with Michael and re-measured the windows and doors, and suggested some changes due to window sizes etc. Nathan is a great guy - very down to earth and friendly AND he knows his job inside and out! Some changes were made to the contract and the order was placed! Due to covid, our windows and doors took a bit longer to be manufactured and installed, but it was SO WORTH the wait! Janice, Jessica and Julie at the Renewal by Andersen office kept us up-to-date with installation dates etc. They were always pleasant and responded to any inquiries quickly. Our installers, Fedar and Daniel were the best! We cannot say enough nice things about these men. They worked so hard replacing our windows and doors. They also fixed any existing problem areas where the old windows had been. Fedar and Daniel were very conscious about the interior of our home and always placed tarps and cardboard down where they were working. We can honestly say that after they finished the job each of the days, they never left a mess. They cleaned up everyday and started fresh the next. Fedar and Daniel take great pride in their work and the outcome from this is that we have perfectly installed windows and doors. Fedar and Daniel went above and beyond to do an excellent job. One of the windows came from the factory without a border that we had picked and another team came to replace it . Mohammed, Layne and Jacob came to replace the window (not a fun job when the window is 22 feet in the air and it is freezing cold outside). Mohammed, Layne and Jacob worked well together and were very efficient and replaced the window, re-caulked it and again, no mess was left for us to clean up. Again, a great job done. Throughout the whole installation process, Nathan, our project manager was in contact with us and dropped in to check on the progress until everything was completed. Honestly, we never thought we would be excited about something like windows and doors, but having new ones has made a huge impact on the look and feel of our home. Visitors to our home have nothing but great things to say about the difference they have made. I know that this review is long, but I wanted to make sure you know that the whole process from start to finish with Renewal by Andersen was fantastic. Their staff went above and beyond to make this whole experience a great one for us. Just had our windows and patio door replaced on Dec 7. The install team of Max and Abi were professional and courteous. Great job from start to finish. Our project manager Jim was helpful with any concerns we had. Can't wait to get the final window done, was back ordered like many things in the supply chain.
