This City Hall is a bunch of Crooks, trying to make people pay parking tickets from 15 yrs ago, i mean really, who do you think you are. No i will not pay for taylor field, which by the way is not what you promised it would be. looks the same as the last place. Its a parking ticket trap, and all they care about is ripping people off. thank god i dont live here anymore.

Staff was courteous and efficient. I miss the non-metered loading zone off Vic. Now we have to pay to park to pay... kinda seems like a cascading payment scheme.

They have really good cashiers and the wait wasn't as long as i suspected it to me.

Called in to ask about the fence along our pipeline. I was repeatedly told if your pipeline is above ground you need to find out the company and call them. All of our pipelines are buried. Then I was asked if the pipeline is underground how people could hang off of it. Long story short Dana was completely of zero help and a headache. Zero service and I wasn’t speaking in riddles

city hall is truly the level of government that is closest to the people. You can walk in and get a tour of the building(really quite interesting) Chris gave us a tour, very impressed with his presentation, answered every question! Often you can run into your Councillor or even the Mayor! Well done folks!

Filed for a building permit for foundation repair. Was told that most permits need to be filed weeks in advance but that they try their best to fast track foundation permits. Was told I should get the permit in 2-3 days. Called back a week later for an update and was told there is no permit application for my address. What a bunch of clowns. Is it really that surprising that so many people do work without permits? I also looked at the city website to see where I am allowed to discharge the water from a sump pit I am planning to put in. The city website clearly states that it should be discharged onto the lawn OR into the city storm sewer system. So I phoned the city to discuss whether or not I can tie into the storm sewer stand pipe that is in my basement. The person I talked to told me that as a home owner I am not allowed to discharge anything into the storm sewer system and that the water can only be discharged onto the lawn. I asked about the info on the city's own webpage and was told by the person on the phone that the city webpage is wrong. If I phone back in a week and talk to someone else I will likely get a completely different answer. A month ago city of Regina workers came to our house and dug a small hole in our lawn. They left before I was able to ask what they were doing there but I noticed that the hole they dug was around my water shut off (they exposed the upper 3-4" of pipe). I called the city to see if there was work being planned for my area. I was told that there weren't any city crews dispatched to my street or to my address. The hole is still there. These are just issues in the last 2 months. The amount of conflicting information is mind boggling. I wouldn't be surprised to find that things are being managed by a bunch of monkeys throwing feces at each other.

Even though I had to pay a $35. parking ticket the commissionaire and I plus the cashier all had a good laugh over it.

Its the government office..as long as the city is standing im happy.
