Excellent value and service. Mind you, it's not a hotel (it's an appartment) so don't expect hotel checkin lobby and service. The Manager (Jasmin) will treat you great though!

5 STARS I had booked a one bedroom suite back in January 2019 for our trip to Calgary for the Grey Cup weekend in November. Check in was Thursday and checkout was Monday. On the Wednesday before arriving, Yasim from Regal called to inform me of the check in process and times. I told her that our flight had changed and we were arriving much sooner to Calgary than originally booked. She said, she try to get us checked in earlier and would call us on Thursday morning when the suite was ready. We arrived early Thursday morning and rented a car from the airport. We had some shopping and running around to do. Lone and behold I get a text from Yasmin telling us our suite was ready a few hours than expected. On arrival to Regal Suites, Yasim greeted us at the front door. Knowing we had a rental car for the weekend, she showed me the indoor parking garage and told me she would waive the daily parking fee! She then took me up to the suite and showed me around. To my surprise we had been upgraded to a two bedroom, two bathroom suite at no extra charge. We didn't need the extra bedroom, but it was nice to have the extra space, so we just kept our luggage on the bed. The 13th floor suite was clean and had everything we needed. We had a great south facing view of the Bow river. Pots, pans, cutlery, everything we needed to cook was there. The in suite wifi is great as the suite has its own internet router located at the TV stand, so you can also hard wire a device to it if needed. Regal is located on the south east edge of downtown. All of the event we attended were downtown, so we we able to walk everywhere. Just across the street is Bookers BBQ restaurant, which is also great!! There is a new building being built just down the street from Regal, which will house a Superstore and Shoppers drug mart. So in a few months, Regal's location will be even better with a full grocery store located just meters away. I would for sure recommend Regal Suites to anyone planning a trip to Calgary!! The only nice thing good about our stay was the nice lady that greeted us and the location of the apartment, everything else was a disaster. Level of hygiene is bad, bathroom drains are stuck, bedsheets are stained, dust everywhere, we asked for extra towels and pillows that arrived smelling like cigarettes, the inflatable bed also smelled like cigarettes. On the last day I decided to wash my cloths , but ended up putting in the dryer for more than 3 hours and still remained wet as the dryer is not working properly and I packed all my cloths wet in my luggage ?
