We chose Redwood to complete a full kitchen relocation and renovation and we don't regret it a single bit. The professionalism, attention to detail and overall experience made us feel like our satisfaction was of utmost importance to the entire team.

President of Redwood Homes, Mr Beck, Inspected and provided a work estimate for our first family home, last year. This was during winter and he seemed eager to do the work, sending us a reminder after our first meeting. Afterwards, we reached an agreement for the first job for a series of proposed projects, and he sent us written estimates. We also were in touch with other contractors, but Mr. Beck was recommended by our realtor. Then, just before beginning work, Mr. Beck increased his estimate, which we agreed to. After many delays, he finally completed the work in Aug, seemingly rushed and badly executed, and not according to his design in the estimate. Mr. Beck did not follow up afterwards, and did not send his estimate for the next job. We were left in limbo as the next job required urgent attention. Mr. Beck ignored my calls, even after promising to reply. Redwood Homes issued us an invoice for the improperly completed work on Aug 26, which we paid Oct 12, because we were waiting for Mr. Beck's reply to our unanswered calls and emails, which never came. We noticed after paying that the invoice included an extra surcharge for "late payment". My attempts to reach Mr. Beck and discuss this by phone, text, and email were ignored. Finally, after 3 months and another email requesting he fix the errors, Mr. Beck sent an angry email accusing us of playing "games" and "city tactics" and making wild unfounded accusations. Mr. Beck seems to think that aggressively belittling and insulting his clients makes up for his workmanship mistakes, unprofessionalism, and lack of responsiveness and integrity. We've had great experiences with every single other contractor we've used in Eastern Ontario. But I certainly would not recommend Redwood Homes based on my dealings with Mr. Beck.
