The most exceptional meal I’ve ever experienced in Whistler. Amazing staff, service, food…I just couldn’t possibly say enough good things about this place, couldn’t have been more blessed than to have had the opportunity of dining here. I hope to return once again someday and to have Sean deliver the unequivocal service I received throughout my entire experience. Kudos to the entire team, now I understand why it takes 3 months to get a reso here ?. I’d of waited longer, for the record. Brandon

Outstanding food. Friendly service. True Whistler gem and very reasonable pricing for the fine dining quality food. Definitely book ahead as the restaurant is small and cozy. Look forward to returning again next month. Our kids enjoyed their kids’ meal and had a great time too. Awesome wine list as well.

Went here for our anniversary dinner while visiting Whistler. Had to book a bit over a month in advance to get a table but well worth the effort. Staff and service was pleasant and friendly. We had a table outside which was great. Food was second to none…too notch!

Utterly disappointed with the food here. The goods: the wild boar was fascinating --- the proscuitto loin, the pork rind, the belly made it very fun to savor this dish. The bad: the seafood bouillabaisse... Overcooked seafood at the max! Lots of seafood but bland and bad. There is wine by the glass but they dunt show it so ask... They only advertise the expensive full bottles bcs that's where the profit is. Not everyone drinks that much wine or even drink wine. We like beer pairings. Get with modern time. Appetizer: beef carpaccio -my understanding was it's suppose to be raw beef marinated in olive oil and capers etc, but this tasted like rare roast beef served on crostini (roast beef sandwich anyone?). It's as if their beef was not fresh enough to be served raw, so they roasted it slightly to kill germs then sliced it razor thin to serve. As a roast beef dish it would pass, but as beef carparacio.. Complete failure. Duck spring rolls ... Don't know what the rave is. Tasted like pulled pork fried roll. Pass. Dessert...we had a pear sorbet with pear brandy liquor which was refreshing but quite an afterthought for such a highly rated restaurant. Try somewhere else.

Very good meal in a lovely atmosphere. Diane is a lovely hostess! Impeccable service by Alecia! Great food by RD and the kitchen staff. Duck spring roll starter is is not to be missed. Dinners in the group included halibut with corn salsa in a lobster bisque, chicken supreme w red wine Demi, and terrine appie and scallops for dinner. Topped off with a superb creme brΓ»lΓ©e. Local gem!

The food is very fresh and tastes amazing. Our server was super sweet and friendly. It's hard to book, so make sure you make a reservation early. My favourite item has to be the succulent duck spring rolls. The pork with chutney sauce is also very flavourful (sweet and salty). There is indoor and outdoor seating at this restaurant.

My husband took me for a lovely surprise dinner on my Birthday 10 days ago, and it was THE best dinner we have had in Whistler. I've lived in Whistler for nearly 2 years and we've had pretty good dining experiences so far, but this culinary delight took all my senses right back to Paris. The service was incredible, all the ladies that night were amazing, and the cuisine is scrumptious! ! !

For my Make-A-Wish, I wished to go somewhere full of fantastic and fun adventures. We were lucky enough to be sent to Whistler where she asked us for one fancy supper and she chose the Red Door Bistro. The food was unforgettable and by far the best we had on our whole trip and I was able to try a new protein, the duck and it was seasoned to perfection and perfectly cook. The special was stuffed chicken supreme and it was to die for! We also got the chuck flats which were braised so well that you didn't need a knife. My parents aren't wine drinkers bit the waitress walked them through it and made them feel more comfortable. We topped it off with a wonderful dessert and it was one of our favorite experiences. Overall the staff were incredible and you could tell that they were knowledgeable and enjoyed there job!
