MARCH 1st 2022
To our valued guests at the Memorial Centre and CAT productions:

The Government of Alberta has announced that the province is taking steps to return to normal and that public health restrictions will be lifted in 3 stages starting February 9, 2022. We have now entered Step 2, the Restrictions Exemption Program has been removed, which means that proof of vaccination or a negative test PCR/rapid test are no longer required.

Food and beverages will also be allowed in the seats at the Red Deer Memorial Centre. Masks will not be required anywhere in the building. Capacity restrictions have been lifted as well.

There may be certain events where the artist requires Covid-19 protocols so please check each ticket page for details. We will ensure any shows requiring protocols are marked as clearly as possible.

Thank you,
Craig Scott
On behalf of the CAT board

I came to perform here with the BYU-Idaho Collegiate Singers and it was such a beautiful venue to sing in! The lighting and sound systems were great and the people of Red Deer that came to our performance were fabulous! The staff is wonderful and efficient. I definitely would recommend attending and performing here!

Nice venue. Good seating and views from everywhere. Small lounge area with small bars. No beverages in the theatre. Bars closed very early. Parking during a sold out show is a bit of a hasstle. Doors don't always open on time.

Great sound system. Small enough that all seats are good. Great volunteers. The only drawback, from my perspective, is the lower level where the beverage counter and washrooms are - somewhat claustrophobic. But barring a main level expansion, don't think the problem can be solved.

Great place to watch a concert, acoustics are really good! Staff are always friendly. The only thing is that I wish we could buy a beer at the concession and bring it to our seats.

This place is really nice! Only wish there was a ramp for the elderly to get into the building.

Wheelchair accessible, extra friendly and very helpful staff, elevator to auditorium. Amazing sound in building like no other venue. Love the smaller size. I have seen top performances here and have been blown away! A couple of my favorite were Biff Naked, Sam Robert's and just recently a play put on by Hunting Hills of Mama Mia. Amazing live entertainment with a band composing the music just below front and center stage for the performers. Very impressive!
