This is not first problem i had with them. I been a client for 20 years but that doesn't mean nothing!
m	mark macdonald on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been a client of rbc for 22 years and seem to run into constant issues over the past few years. I just recently applied for a small loan (under 20,000) over the phone and was pre approved. The rbc branch in my area is always booked so on the same call with the same rbc rep I booked at my local rbc to finish the process. Appointment day rolled around and I brought all the information that was requested and was early so I got to go right in with the advisor. They couldn’t see the loan app so had to call for assistance. This is where I start to get frustrated. They inform me that they cannot forward it and I have to email/fax my info to them and have it reviewed and should hear back within the next couple weeks. Which will end in me makin another appointment at the branch. So to sum it up. Apply a week in advance and book an appointment. Take time off of work for a useless appointment. Send information to rbc Wait to hear back on loan app (should be within a couple weeks) Once I hear back from rbc I need to book another appointment but they are 8days behind at the local branch. This should be a simple in and out process. I cannot believe the run around.
B	Blerkjerk on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Geared more towards professional banking over personal, this particular RBC branch has done well for me, my family and extended family in the area. If you know your way around how banking works, most processes are smooth. Though some are bound in slow traditional procedures that the competitive banks expedite to stand out against it. All and all a good experience for the last 20 years.
