★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best community center in this area. Programs constantly run, geared mostly for the kids. The Family program is most definitely worth checking out. The food is always delicious, many varieties are made. If you are looking for a Summer Camp, by far Raycam's is ultimate. Amazed at all the places they took the kids, many stories flowed out. The staff is a solid team. Always there to help, all you have to do is ask. Knowledgeable and helpful the way they handle the kids, they respect them. Ears listening and following the rules. I was hesitant at first to try Raycam out, I'm glad I did, I've meet many wonderful people. Two thumbs up for the crew at Raycam

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not the cleanest, plus I worry about security. I have found in the past that if you ask and get help people that shouldn't know why your there seem to even know your hardships and details of your visit. It's one of those glass type places and everyone is throwing stones. So if you prefer privacy I would go there for help....sorry but that's my experience

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Most inclusive community center I have ever been to, it's more like a big family. Many family programs, excellent child care and child minding for programs. Staff are very kind and informative. Great place to seek resources and support as well to support your community.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love the Raycam rec centre! Not only does it serve the community exceptionally well it also supports its patrons immensely! They offer wonderful self help courses such as "Circle of Security".... also they have a daycare on the premises for children ages 3-10. There is also a youth group open to children ages 12-18 that meets 3 days a week, designed for the teen that's beginning to wander from the beaten path. Overall I recommend this rec centre to all patrons in the Strathcona Community.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I grew up here. In that neighborhood and around that center. I see most of the workers there as family. Of course that gives me bias but everyone there are the friendliest people you'll meet. They have a latchkey program that I went to after school, that also extended to the summer program. There's a LOT of programs for youths. From two daycare centers to trades programs for highschool students. Theres more to this place but my thumbs are getting tired.
