★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This open-year-round rest area is just East of Cranbrook. There are actual washrooms, not just pit toilets like some rest areas. The rest area is large enough for those with travel trailers to stop and stretch their legs and allow their dogs to have a run on the nearby trails

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place to stop! Stretch the legs and keep going to our destination. Pretty. Toilets and quiet for a rest for the dog! CoCo enjoyed her sniff around and walk!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful rest area. Full service washrooms, picnic areas, and nice trails around the small marshy lake. A great place to stop for 10 minutes or a few hours.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So thankful we found this rest area. It has a hiking / biking trail with two loops , the longest about 6km and the shorter at only 2km. There are plenty of rugged picnic tables and one gazebo. I saw public washrooms but can't tell whether they were in good state as I didn't use them.
